🖤 MEET THE TEAM - KELLIE 🖤
Well... I suppose it's my turn 😂

I'm Kellie, the owner of Kel's Nailz, and I've been doing nails since 2011. What started as a hobby somehow turned into my dream career, an amazing team and a salon I'm so proud to call mine.

🖤 Favourite nail style? Gothic glam, all day long. Give me black, chrome, chains and anything a little bit edgy and I'm happy!
🎨 Hand-painted nail art? I'll happily do it... but just be prepared for the occasional shin kick under the table 🤣
☕ Fuel of choice? Coffee... lots of coffee. And when that stops working, Red Bull. But definitely NOT the original one! Give me Apple & Muscat Grape, Sakura Cherry & Apricot or Strawberry (which tastes exactly like a Petit Filous... so basically breakfast, right?).
🍔 Favourite snack? BBQ Saucers and a chicken burger from the shop next door... usually inhaled at 10pm after surviving on coffee and nail dust all day.
🤯 Random fact: I used to be a Civil Servant... now I spend my days covered in glitter, gel and chrome. Safe to say I know which career I prefer!
🏆 2026 has definitely been my "pinch me" year. Becoming a Top 5 Scratch Stars Nail Stylist of the Year finalist is something I'll never stop being proud of... and if you know me, you'll know I'm already planning my competition nails just in case I make it through again next year! 👀🤞🏼
🐾 Outside of the salon you'll usually find me with my two children or snuggling up with Sir Bobbington (my adopted Frenchie 🐶) in bed because it's gone midnight and I've had another nail idea that I absolutely have to add to my 1036 notes before I forget it.

🧡 Meet the Team – Abbie 🧡

Hi, I'm Abbie!

I'm neuro-spicy with a wild, sarcastic sense of humour, and I swapped my "grown-up" job as a teacher back in 2017 to become a nail technician... and I've never looked back! I love being challenged and will always find a way to bring your nail ideas to life.

You'll probably hear about my Solero addiction at some point... it gets mentioned every now and again! 🍦😂

When I'm not in the salon, I love fast cars and adventures, but my three grown-up children and little grandson keep me grounded.

A random fact about me... I once helped change education legislation and even gave a speech in the House of Commons! I also do my best to keep Iceland in business by buying copious amounts of Soleros. 😆

Like many people with ADHD, I'm fuelled by caffeine and have absolutely no filter! ☕ Since joining Kel's Nailz, I've found my tribe. I can let my weird side show in all its glory, and our clients seem to appreciate that we're all just genuinely ourselves.

I don't have a favourite type of nails to create. My favourite sets are the ones that get a client excited because they're wearing something they never thought they could pull off or were brave enough to wear. Knowing I've played a tiny part in helping someone show their personality to the world is the best feeling.

My goals are to see the world, experience everything it has to offer... and maybe buy some shares in Walls while I'm at it! 🌍🍦😂

If you've ever sat in Miyah's chair, you'll know she's one of the bubbliest people you'll meet! Always up for a laugh, full of random facts and guaranteed to make you smile.
When she's not creating beautiful nails, you'll probably find her at the gym, hiking, reading, or obsessing over makeup and perfume. Oh... and if she finds a song she likes, she'll have it on repeat for HOURS!

💅🏼 Favourite nail style? Hand-painted art, 3D designs and anything that lets her creativity run wild! Whether it's elegant bridal nails or bold statement sets, Miyah loves bringing your ideas to life and turning them into tiny masterpieces. There's nothing better than seeing a finished set and thinking... "I made that!"

Some of you may already recognise this face... and we're so excited to officially welcome Abbi back to Kel's Nailz!

She's happy, bubbly, a little bit quirky, and definitely going to fit right back in with us! Here's a few fun facts about her...
💖 Personality:
Happy, bubbly, a little bit quirky, with approximately 472 tabs open in her brain at all times... plus a sprinkle of ADHD chaos.
👜 Weird habit:
Every time she takes her handbag off, she ends up cradling it on her lap like a newborn baby. She doesn't even realise she's doing it until someone points it out! Maybe it's her emotional support handbag...
🍬 Current obsession:
Nerds Gummy Clusters. Apparently whoever invented them deserves jail time because she physically can't stop eating them!
🥾 Hobbies:
Walking, hiking and... against all odds... she's even started enjoying running! She's still waiting for this so-called "runner's high"... at the moment it's mostly just questioning her life choices halfway round.
🐈 Pets:
One very loved (and very naughty!) cat who somehow gets away with absolutely everything because he's cute.
💚 Random fact:
Kellie may have already let this one slip... but Abbi genuinely used to dream about Ceelo Green! Not people... not holidays... not nail products. We think that tells you absolutely everything you need to know about her! 🤣
🌍 Dream holiday:
A safari in South Africa to see all the animals in the wild. She says she'd probably spend the whole trip crying happy tears!

CJP! She's recently made the switch and is loving the gorgeous Builder Gel shades and how easy the products are to work with. Safe to say... she's converted! 🤍
