Hello.

It's been a while.

Sorry about that.

I can't pretend I have been ok. I've actually been very not ok (as I'm sure is the case for a lot of us.)

Sadly I developed crippling panic attacks when trying to return to work in March.

Apparently I have been having them for years, I thought I was just uptight. They have been wanting to be witnessed for a while and after having been at home for 2 years and whilst preparing to return to work, was the perfect time.

I haven't been on social media because I haven't known where to start. How do you let your clients know you are quiet because leaving the house causes panic?

Thankfully for me I could pin point the cause, I knew exactly what they are from - they are from 7 years of continued abuse and harassment. They are from leaving a situation but having to continue to encounter my abuser almost daily.

I appear to be through the worst of it. I really hope I am.

And our life is rebuilding now my children have lived with me full time for a year. I do not recommend being taken to family court during a pandemic.

I have been slowly returning to work. Gently pushing myself a little more every day (as per my months of CBT)

So, if you need a haircut, please know I am here.

And if you are struggling with your mental health please know, there is help. Don't pretend you are fine for 7 years like I tried to.

Soooo.....we can open again!!!
Oooft that was a little longer than we thought.
Couldn't tell you what I've been doing because it's a blur of children's maths, endless hours of cooking to fill time, other people's dirty clothes and long phone conversations which do not make up for seeing real faces.

Changes have occurred which effect my working hours but I will explain these to everyone when I see you. A new price list will also be issued this week so keep an eye out for that.
I have got in touch with everyone who bought vouchers from me so now books are open to anyone who needs me.

We have made it to now! That is a cause for celebration....and new hair.
Sending everyone my love, hope your hearts are filled with a renewed hope for Spring. I am ready to gently awaken from my (very long) slumber.

I haven't had time to add appointments to my page as I have completely booked out now until Christmas. I have limited space between Christmas and New Year if you are in need.

All systems a-go!
We finally have a date.
I will be able to book from the 4th of July.
Anyone who has bought a voucher will be first to be booked in. I will start contacting you guys on Monday. Once I have been in touch with everyone on the voucher list, I will then book the rest of you lovely lot who have been so kind as to get in touch with me.

I am going to sit and read through the guidelines which have been established for our return to work and make sure I am on top of all the requirements.
There may be a little less nattering and a bit of manoeuvring around masks but the results will still be as wonderful as ever.
Time to get my scissors sharpened and ready for action.
