ROTI, CHAPATI, NAAN AND PARATHA… DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO GIVE THEM UP?
If you’re struggling with high blood sugar, insulin resistance or stubborn belly fat, you might think your favourite carbohydrates are completely off the menu.
But what if changing WHEN and HOW you eat could make a difference?
I’m sharing three simple habits from my daily 90 Day Protocol that have helped me take control of my metabolic health without giving up every food I enjoy.
Want to know exactly what I do? Comment RESET below.
Rice, bread, potatoes and pasta all contain carbohydrates that your body breaks down into glucose. But what if changing WHEN and HOW you eat could help you manage your blood sugar without giving up everything you enjoy? Comment RESET to discover my approach.
My dinner time ideas😃
For the first time in my adult life, I’ve finally reached the weight I always wanted.
For years I struggled with my weight. I’d lose some, put it back on and eventually started believing that was simply how my life was going to be.
Finding the tools I now use and building them into a simple daily protocol changed my approach completely.
I’ve lost over five stone, but the number on the scales isn’t the part I’m most proud of. My health and my relationship with food have changed enormously too.
Today I’ve finally hit that goal I’d spent most of my adult life chasing.

Waking up several times every night to use the toilet? It might not just be your bladder.
Frequent night-time urination can have many causes, but persistently high blood glucose is one that’s worth knowing about.
When glucose levels become high enough, your kidneys may not be able to reabsorb all that glucose. Some passes into your urine and pulls additional water with it, potentially increasing both urination and thirst.
These were warning signs I ignored before I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
If this keeps happening to you, don’t self-diagnose, but consider speaking to your healthcare professional and getting your blood glucose checked.
Tomorrow I’ll tell you what happened next in my story.
Can you lose weight as a student without giving up your social life or obsessively counting calories?
Samara started with me in June struggling with her weight while surrounded by the food choices that come with student life.
Three months later, she had achieved an incredible personal transformation.
In her words, she hasn’t counted calories, still enjoys the foods she loves and does around 20 minutes of exercise three times a week, while consistently using the tools in her daily system.
This is Samara’s individual experience and results will vary.

Constantly thirsty and urinating more than usual, especially at night?
Frequent urination (polyuria) and excessive thirst (polydipsia) can be symptoms of diabetes.
When blood glucose becomes sufficiently elevated, the kidneys may not be able to reabsorb all of the filtered glucose. Glucose remains in the urine and draws additional water with it, increasing urine volume and potentially making you increasingly thirsty.
These were symptoms I ignored in my early 40s before being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
If you’re experiencing unexplained excessive thirst or frequent urination, particularly alongside other symptoms, speak to a healthcare professional and consider getting your blood glucose checked.
There’s far more going on in yerba mate than caffeine. 🌿
The drink I use every morning contains naturally occurring plant compounds including chlorogenic acids, theobromine and mate saponins.
Chlorogenic acids are polyphenols being studied for their potential role in glucose and fat metabolism, antioxidant activity and cardiovascular health.
And what surprised me most? The concentrated yerba mate I use contains up to 10× the chlorogenic acids of a typical cup of coffee.
This isn’t a magic drink. It’s simply one of the tools that forms part of the daily protocol I’ve followed for years.
