As always I tell my client the following; Swelling after lip filler is completely normal and in fact very common. It happens because the injection to lip fillers triggers a natural healing response, and as hyaluronic acid filler attracts water, making the lips look puffier at the beginning stage. Swelling usually peaks within 24–48 hours of treatment and settles over the next few days to week! 🤍

My favourite treatment within my business is truly the Russian Lip Technique.

It really can create the most beautiful lips but also still maintaining the more natural results especially from the side angle when healed over the classic technique. The classic technique is a much older technique where dermal filler is distributed in larger quantities and can sometimes create the overfilled look due to the distribution of the filler.

I know I say this every odd month - because I’m so dreadful at posting any pictures on my work social media accounts but I just get so busy working in the clinics I forget about the social media element too it - however going to get back into the social media (it’s a must at this point) but I do prefer to be a lot busier in person than focusing my time on posting!

Back to the treatment in this before and after post - my gorgeous client had 1.1ml to help sharpen her side profile we focused on the chin to create that sharper look - when filler is injected correctly it can work so well at enhancing the structure of your face to create the more enhanced appearance!
