As days in Business turned to weeks, weeks to months, months to years, years to decades

CHANGE WAS INEVITABLE

In recent years more then ever before..

I started to not only see myself as a business, making connections & money, but as someone with a platform, and a premises, which has a social responsibility...

Worried for clients, who were confiding in me about their issues, I completed courses in Su***de awareness and educated myself in Mindfulness so that I could advise correctly instead of 'stir the pot further'

The Beauty of Burton was a little effort to give back to my community and remind them, of all we have to be grateful for and, to stay focused on our greater purpose...

As someone who worries about the physical & emotional affects of the extreme cosmetic surgery industry I told my clients I would only offer services which enhance, groom and celebrate their God given beauty instead of drastically tamper with it putting them under immense & unrealistic pressures of the constantly changing, money making, beauty standards... Whether it be threading, facials, makeup- I work with the natural features not against them...

As someone who worries about the dangers of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the evil eye, and the devastating affects it can have on innocent lives, I decided to remove personal pictures of myself, of my platforms, to encourage others to do the same and safeguard their private lives from those that are not their well wishers or not their mehrams...

As someone who was becoming more aware of the affects of certain types of music, on our brains, I became mindful about the type of lyrics, if any, I would use over my videos, or even play at my premises... Song lyrics promoting, glorifying, or normalising sins & crimes do nothing but mess with the brain which then messes with the behaviour...

I refused to take on any Promotions that didn't sit right with my beliefs... If you're selling magic, or alcohol, or anything I deem harmful I'm not helping you sell that... If I wouldn't wish it for myself I wouldn't wish it for anyone...

So this 18th anniversary I would like to not only thank you, my dear clients, for your incredible business which allowed me to be a present full time mother, and homemaker, to my 3 children but also to the incredible clients I've met along the way who have changed me inside out more then I ever thought possible... Clients who showed me loyalty and kindness, clients who trusted me with not only their services but their deepest secrets, clients who introduced me to thinking and acting differently, clients who taught me that not all people, not all places, were the same...

Clients who became blessings & clients who became lessons,Clients who became friends & clients who even became family...
