Whilst we're closed, we'll be busy working on something very exciting behind the scenes ready for the next academic year... 👀 We can't say too much just yet but trust us – it's going to be worth the wait!🤭

Our students had an amazing opportunity to explore the incredible range of makeup and beauty products. They discovered the latest trends, and gain inspiration from one of the industry's leading brands. 🍭💖

Students from Woosong college explored the Peek-a-Boo Colour Technique with our amazing tutor, Laura. Using doll heads, vibrant colours, and plenty of imagination, each learner created a unique and creative look that showcased their artistic vision. 💆‍♀️✨

Laura also shared her professional tips and tricks throughout the session, helping everyone build confidence while experimenting with colour placement and creative techniques.💜🎨

A fantastic day of learning and hands-on practice with our Korean learners from Woosong college! ✨

Our lovely and talented Lia delivered an inspiring Lash Lift Masterclass, demonstrating her techniques and sharing valuable industry tips. After watching the live demonstration, the girls had the opportunity to put their new skills into practice by working on each other, building confidence and perfecting their technique. 💕👁️

Our international students from Woosong College took part in an exciting Media Makeup Masterclass, delivered by the talented Heather Jones. ✨💄

Students had the opportunity to watch live demonstration before putting their new skills into practice on each other, creating a range of special effects makeup looks, including realistic bruising and injury effects. 🎨🩹

👏 Huge congratulations to our Level 2 Hairdressing learner, Karina Agocs, who proudly represented BSDC at the WorldSkills Midlands Regional Heat last Friday.

After impressing the judges in the qualifiers, Karina competed against some of the region’s top learners at Dudley College.

We are delighted to share that Karina achieved a Highly Commended result in the regional heat – a fantastic recognition of her hard work, talent, and dedication to her craft.💇‍♀️🤩

We now look forward to finding out whether Karina has secured a place in the WorldSkills UK Grand Final this November. ✨
