I had the absolute pleasure of meeting this lovely new client today 🫶🏼
She has been wanting to embrace her natural hair colour for sometime but hadn’t got the results that she wanted..
I’m really glad she trusted me to change her hair from her usual highlights to a a root smudge and some freehand colour. 🥰
This colour will be very low maintenance for her and is way more en trend ❤️👏🏼
She loves her new look 🫶🏼🥰

We also put some highlights through the top section and a root touch up 🌟🫶🏼❤️

In my 33 years of hairdressing I’ve never seen such beautiful thick hair…. ❤️
My client wanted to achieve a short, blunt, one length bob, while keeping the natural waves.. Layers or graduation was not an option. (That would only create weight and heaviness)
I cut the length through my comb (no tension) so I wouldn’t create any graduation in the outline, allowing her hair to sit as it naturally wants to sit.
I then went through the underneath in small sections, slicing weight and thickness out little by little until I was satisfied that her hair would sit nicely (without being too bulky)
I left the top section so the haircut would appear to be one length. ✂️🫶🏼

🤎All over permanent tint to cover the greys and made her hair super shiny 🌟
✂️Just an inch off the length and some long layers to give a lovely shape 🫶🏼

My lovely client has extremely thick hair…
Her hair was shoulder length and she was finding it hard work … especially in this heat 🥵
We decided to undercut the underneath (very short) ✂️🥰
I then freehand cut the length to a bob and took all the weight out of the longer lengths.. ❤️👍🏻
