Not every set of lashes needs to be treated the exact same way 🙌

Chloe’s inner corner lashes were almost the same length as her outer lashes, so I reversed the shields to give me a stronger lift through the outer corners while keeping those inner corners softer

The result? Balanced, lifted and completely tailored to her eye shape 🙌🏼

Sometimes you’ve got to understand the rules to know when to bend them 👀

Have you ever been mid Korean Lash Lift and suddenly thought… why are these lashes NOT gripping to my flat shield?! 👀

There can be a few reasons, but one thing I always check is the shield itself.

Over time, silicone can start to lose that lovely shiny, tacky surface it has when it’s fresh — and I find once that starts to go, so does some of the grip. Meaning you’re fighting to keep those lashes exactly where you want them rather than them sitting beautifully against the shield 🙌🏼

You can see the difference in the second photo… same flat shields, just fresh vs well used 😂 The colour change is obvious, but for me it’s the change in the surface and grip that matters most.

Personally, I tend to replace mine after around 3 clients. I just find fresh shields give me better grip, cleaner placement and make the whole process SO much easier.

And let’s be real… your flat shields are probably one of the least expensive parts of performing a Korean Lash Lift. Replacing them regularly isn’t exactly going to break the bank, but it can make such a difference to how easily you work and the result you achieve ✨

Sometimes it’s not your technique… your tools might just need a refresh 👀
