Today I had the pleasure of welcoming the super cute Mia to the salon for a little pamper session! 💕✨

Mia who is 8, chose gorgeous rose gold fingernails with a fun leopard print accent, and for her toes she picked beautiful mermaid scales with a touch of glitter – because who doesn't love a little sparkle? 🩷🐆🧜‍♀️✨

She certainly kept me entertained and on my toes with but she was an absolute star and left with the cutest nails. 🥰

It was such a pleasure having you in the salon today, Mia. I hope you had a lovely time over the weekend with all your parties and I can't wait to welcome you back for another pamper soon!

Polite request for my clients...

As footfall in the salon continues to increase (which I'm so grateful for! ❤️), I'd like to kindly ask all clients to remove their shoes before entering the salon area.

As my salon is based at home and I keep it homely with soft floor coverings, this small gesture really helps me keep everything clean, hygienic and tidy, and means I don't have to have the washing machine on quite so often washing rugs!

Please feel free to bring a pair of slippers or comfy indoor shoes to change into if that makes you feel more comfortable during your appointment. 👣

What a week it's been at the salon! 🤣

We've had wedding celebrations, birthday celebrations, a racing pigeon that decided my house was its new home (twice... and yes, it had to be escorted back outside both times 🐦😂), and then to top it all off today, an air ambulance landed in the field behind the house, covering the garden in a lovely layer of dust and straw just as I'm finishing a pedicure.

Run a business from home they said, it'll be fun they said! Thet weren't kidding either!!." Skipping into Monday like this little guy and awaiting more daily plot twists. 🤦‍♀️

Anyway... that's my EastEnders-style mic drop to round off the week! 🎤 Duff duff duff duff... 😂

If you know me, you'll know I really love a charity shop bargain! 😂

So let me introduce you my outfit of choice for yesterday's wedding... my £2.50 charity shop dress! Absolute bargain, and I don't think it looked too shabby either! 😍

Yesterday was all about celebrating the lovely Mandi & Paul, and what a fabulous day it was. It was so special to share it with great friends and watch them finally say, "I do." ❤️

This is pretty much the only photo I made it into (apart from the official ones)... mainly because I hit the bar... and boy did the bar hit back! 🍷🤣 Safe to say it won on points!

Today I'm officially in the recovery position, surviving on tea, water and the promise that I definitely won't be doing that again... I think! 😜

💍👰 Team Bride has officially landed in the salon! 👰💍

Today it was Mandi G's first time with me for a bit of pre-wedding pampering... and I can't quite believe the big day is finally here tomorrow! I even dressed for the occasion of love being in the air ❤️

I've known Mandi for years, so it was lovely to get her wedding-ready with a gorgeous set of pink chrome toes. Safe to say they're looking as excited as she is! ✨💖

Now there's only one thing left to do... try and get some sleep tonight (although I suspect that's easier said than done! 😂).

A little while ago I was contacted by Newbold Church School to ask if I'd be willing to donate a prize to their summer fair. As I'd only just started my business, and with my son having attended the school back in the 90s, I was more than happy to support such a lovely cause.

The prize was a free set of gel nails or gel toes, and today I had the pleasure of welcoming the lovely Scarlett into the salon to claim her prize. She chose these gorgeous brown based zebra print gel toes finished with a delicate little white flower, and I absolutely loved creating them! You all know by now how much I enjoy getting stuck into nail art, so this was the perfect opportunity to get creative.

Thank you, Scarlett, for choosing such a fun design, and thank you to you and your lovely friend for such a wonderful visit. Your kind compliments about the salon really made my day.
