Firstly, we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has booked with us since our online booking system went live. We've had a fantastic first couple of weeks, and we're so grateful for all of your support. It really does mean the world to our small business. 💚

Unfortunately, today we experienced our first no-show. An appointment was booked using a false phone number, and the client didn't attend. Sadly, this means we've had to introduce a booking deposit policy to help protect our appointment times.

From today:
🌿 A 50% deposit will be required when booking online.
🌿 The remaining balance will be paid at your appointment.
🌿 We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel with more than 24 hours' notice, your deposit will be fully refunded.
🌿 Cancellations made within 24 hours, or failure to attend your appointment, will result in the loss of your deposit, and the remaining balance of the treatment cost will still be payable.

We never wanted to have to introduce this, but as a small business, missed appointments have a huge impact on us.
We also get charged 20% on all new client bookings whether they pay or not, so I have not just lost out on profit, but have been charged for that missed appointment.

We completely understand that emergencies can happen, and we'll always do our best to be fair and understanding where appropriate. If you need to cancel or change your appointment you can do so via the online booking system or messenger or phone call! 🩷

A little introduction from the witch behind the beauty bed... 🕯️✨

Hello, I'm Jodie. Salon Owner and beautician. I'm a mama to my beautiful little girl, Nell, a lifelong lover of autumn, Harry Potter, cosy cups of tea, and anything magic.

I've been in the beauty industry for 17 years, and creating this little witchy sanctuary has been a dream of mine. I wanted it to feel like somewhere you could leave the outside world behind for a while—where you can relax, have a laugh, and leave feeling like the very best version of yourself.

Life isn't always perfectly brewed (mine certainly isn't!), but you'll usually find me here with tea in hand, music playing, probably dancing around the salon cleaning between clients, and surrounded by potion bottles. My favourite treatment to do is FACIALS 💚✨️(they're sooo relaxing!)

Yesterday, one of my lovely clients, Tanya, surprised me at her appointment with the most beautiful flowers and some delicious cakes to celebrate her 1-year "client anniversary" with me. 🥹💐🧁

It's moments like these that remind me how lucky I am to do a job I genuinely love, meeting such kind, thoughtful people along the way.
