This patient was experiencing irritation because their lower eyelid was turning inwards, causing the eyelashes to rub against the surface of the eye. This can lead to discomfort, watering and ongoing irritation.

Following a thorough medical assessment, Dr Nikita treated the tiny muscle responsible for pulling the eyelid inwards. By carefully relaxing this muscle, the eyelid gently returned to a more natural position, allowing the eyelashes to move away from the eye and relieving the irritation.

This case is a great reminder that injectable treatments aren’t simply about the product being used. They’re about understanding anatomy, making the correct diagnosis and selecting the most appropriate treatment for each individual patient.
