LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE ISN’T JUST ABOUT A BEFORE & AFTER

Yes, you may leave your treatment feeling lighter, less puffy and more comfortable…
But Manual Lymphatic Drainage is about so much more than chasing an instant visual result.
MLD uses gentle, slow and directional movements designed to support the natural movement of lymph and fluid through the body.
And here’s the bit I really want my clients to understand:
Your lymphatic system doesn’t only matter when you feel bloated. 🤍
Supporting it is an everyday thing.
Regular movement
Staying hydrated
Deep diaphragmatic breathing
Good nutrition
Rest and recovery

🤍 MLD when appropriate
They all work together.

One lovely lymphatic treatment can leave you feeling wonderfully relaxed and refreshed, but consistency is where the ritual really comes into its own.

Think of your lymphatic system a little like brushing your teeth. You wouldn’t wait until they felt terrible before looking after them.
Support your lymphatics regularly, not just when you’re feeling puffy.

Feeling puffy, heavy or just a little… blah?

Your lymphatic system works quietly behind the scenes every single day, helping to move excess fluid around the body and playing an important role in your immune system.

Unlike your circulatory system, it doesn’t have a heart pumping it around. Movement, breathing and muscle activity all help keep lymph moving.

So where does Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) come in? 🌿

MLD is a beautifully gentle treatment using slow, light and rhythmic movements designed to encourage the natural movement of lymphatic fluid.

It’s not deep tissue massage.

It shouldn’t feel painful.

And harder pressure does not mean better lymphatic drainage.

Instead, expect a treatment that feels calm, soothing and incredibly restorative. 🤍

MLD may be particularly lovely if you’re experiencing feelings of:

Puffiness or fluid retention

Heavy or tired legs

Bloating

General heaviness

Or you simply want some quiet time to switch off and relax

And because I believe the experience matters just as much as the treatment, my lymphatic sessions at Dermasculpt Studio are designed to feel like a little reset for your whole body.

September, it’s been a pleasure 🤎

What a month.

From travelling to London for training, to settling into my new salon, learning from some incredible tutors both in person and online, and continuing to grow Dermasculpt Studio into everything I’ve envisioned.

And the learning definitely isn’t stopping there…

I’ve got new Fibromyalgia Massage and Menopause Massage training ahead, two areas I’m really excited to bring into the studio and develop further.

This month has reminded me that building a business isn’t just about what you’re doing right now. It’s about constantly learning, evolving and planting the seeds for what comes next.

And I’ve definitely been planting a few seeds behind the scenes…

Some may take a little time to grow, but there are very exciting things ahead for Dermasculpt Studio.

Thank you September 🤎

October… I’m ready for you. ✨

NOTE BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

I want every client who walks into Dermasculpt Studio to feel comfortable, relaxed and fully informed about their treatment.

If you’re coming in for Manual Lymphatic Drainage, here are a few helpful things to know beforehand:

Please arrive on time so you can enjoy your full treatment. Please if you arrive early wait at the seating area in the salon. I also need to refresh between clients, I will come downstairs at your allocated time.

Keep well hydrated before and after your appointment. It's helps get the most from your treatment!

Wear loose, comfortable clothing and ideally dark underwear you don’t mind getting a little massage oil on. We all love the skin sculpting lycra but this restricts lymph-- why slow it down when we have worked hard to speed it up.

Your privacy matters. You’ll be appropriately draped throughout, with only the area being treated uncovered. I have disposable underwear if required - I will do everything to make sure you are comfortable.

No need to shave! Body hair makes absolutely no difference to your treatment.

One thing that sometimes surprises new clients is that MLD isn’t necessarily performed only where you feel puffy or uncomfortable. Your lymphatic system works as a network, so your treatment may involve gentle work around areas such as the neck, abdomen, underarms, groin or behind the knees, depending on what is appropriate for you.
I will be working on every inch of your body - especially on your abdomen.

Afterwards, some people notice things such as feeling relaxed, thirsty or needing to urinate more frequently. Everyone responds differently, so there is no “right” way you should feel after MLD.

And please remember: MLD is gentle. It isn’t a deep-pressure massage and it shouldn’t need to hurt to be effective.

My aim is for you to leave feeling relaxed, reassured and looked after, while understanding a little more about your lymphatic system than when you arrived. 🤎

THE EXTRAS I DON’T CHARGE EXTRA FOR

You may have noticed the glow underneath the treatment bed… but do you know what you’re actually lying on?

At Dermasculpt Studio, selected lymphatic and body treatments can be enjoyed with my full-body Red/Near-Infrared Collagen Light Mat and PEMF mat as part of your treatment experience.

❤️ RED + NEAR-INFRARED LIGHT

Often known as photobiomodulation, red and near-infrared light is used in aesthetic and wellness settings. Research into photobiomodulation includes its effects on skin repair and collagen-related processes, although results depend on wavelength, dose and the device being used.

PubMed Central (PMC)

🧲 PEMF THERAPY

PEMF stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy. It uses low-frequency electromagnetic pulses and is being studied across a number of areas, particularly pain and physical recovery. Evidence varies depending on the condition and treatment parameters, so I see it as a wellness addition, rather than making big medical promises about what it can do.

And here’s the bit I love...

These technologies are often offered as separate wellness treatments or paid upgrades elsewhere.

At Dermasculpt?

I don’t add an extra charge. 🤍

Where suitable, I incorporate them into your experience because I want the time you spend on my treatment bed to feel like more than just an appointment.

Warmth.

Light.

Stillness.

Hands-on treatment.

A little pocket of time where your body gets to switch off.

It’s not an “add-on”. It’s part of the Dermasculpt experience.

Because sometimes the luxury isn’t adding more to the bill...

it’s adding more to the treatment. ✨

Your lymph nodes are part of your body’s defence system .

Your lymphatic system is working quietly in the background every single day.

Lymph nodes help filter lymph fluid and are home to immune cells that help your body recognise and respond to infection and other unwanted substances.

Sometimes lymph nodes can become swollen or tender, particularly when your immune system is responding to an infection.
But new, unexplained or persistent swelling should always be checked by a healthcare professional.

If your lymph nodes are swollen, painful or you’re feeling unwell we don’t massage over them. We find out why first.

If in doubt -we get checked out 🤎🤍🤎

Derma4Sculpt slots — £50 per session ✨
I’m opening a limited number of appointments for my Derma4Sculpt treatment.

So what is it? Derma4Sculpt brings together four modalities and parts of my body sculpting menu: laser lipo, ultrasound cavitation, radio frequency, or my secret sauce & devices and finished with lymph work.

Your session is tailored to you, so the combination may differ depending on the area we’re working on and what’s suitable for you and each time it will change depending on where we are on your journey.
We’ll talk it through before we start.

I'm opening this up to £50 per session, This is massively less than industry prices !!!
I will be looking to film content or take before and after pictures -full discussion prior to treatment starting.
Most have 1-4 inch loss on the first treatment - some more - some less- not everyone is a candidate -so full consultation prior .

I'm opening up the slots to showcase my Dema4sculpt: best results are from a course
This could be between 3-6.

I have limited slots available, so message me to book or ask any questions 🤍

I get asked about the difference between these two all the time 🤎

My MLD is very gentle. My Brazilian maderotherapy is a much more active treatment using wooden tools.
One isn’t a stronger version of the other — the technique and outcome and the experience are different.
If you’re unsure which to book, send me a message and tell me what you’re looking for. I’ll also check your health information before recommending a treatment.

Six months of progress with my gorgeous client ❤️

I want to give credit where it’s due: she’s been eating well, getting her steps in and exercising when she can. I’ve helped her along the way with regular treatments, including HI-EMT, laser lipo, cavitation and radio frequency.

At the moment, we’re focusing on lymphatic treatments and radio frequency. We’re also planning to start PRP microneedling, and going to try some exciting new products for her skin, and add BBL glute work. Excited to launch the next level of skin tightening and toning.

I can’t wait to see where the next six months take us! Thank you for trusting me and letting me share your progress .

Everyone’s body and results are different

STRUGGLING WITH ACNE-PRONE OR CONGESTED SKIN?

Acne can be frustrating, especially when you feel like you’ve tried everything.

At DermaSculpt Studio, my approach is about supporting your skin, not attacking it. 🤍

SkinBase Microdermabrasion uses fine crystals together with vacuum action to exfoliate the outermost layer of dead skin cells and remove surface debris, leaving the skin feeling smoother, fresher and more refined.

For suitable acne-prone skin, it can help with:
Congestion and blocked-looking pores
Dead skin cell build-up
Uneven skin texture
Dullness
The appearance of some post-acne marks and superficial scarring
Maintaining smoother, clearer-looking skin.

And one of the things I LOVE about SkinBase?
The before & after results you’ll see me sharing aren't just from one therapist or one salon.

They are real treatment results shared by SkinBase therapists from across the UK. 🇬🇧

SkinBase is a well-established professional skincare and treatment company, and I love being part of a network of therapists who are passionate about skin, education and achieving great results.

It also means I can show you lots of different skin journeys, because acne isn't one-size-fits-all.
Your treatment shouldn't be either.

Before treating you, I'll look at your skin, your concerns and your medical history and decide whether Microdermabrasion is actually suitable.
Microdermabrasion isn't appropriate for every type of acne, particularly active, inflamed, infected, broken or highly irritated skin. Certain medications and recent skin treatments can also affect whether we can safely go ahead.
If your acne is severe, painful, cystic, suddenly worsening or causing significant scarring, your GP or dermatologist should be your first port of call.

Prior to any treatments a free full consultation face to face appointment and skin patch test.
