Well it’s been a year since I took over Wetcutz, now Styling 5.
Refit still going on🙈but it’s been fabulous.
Iv got great staff which I would like to say thank you too 💕
and all the wonderful clients as well.

After 20+ Years…
A letter from me

After more than 20 years on the salon floor — and for some of you, even longer than that — I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to retire from doing hair.

Many of you haven’t just been clients. You’ve grown with me. We’ve shared life in that chair — engagements, weddings, babies, heartbreak, loss, new jobs and fresh starts.

We’ve laughed until we cried… and sometimes just cried.

Those four walls have held so much more than hair.
But the truth is, my body is asking me to slow down. With the physical health
challenges I live with, it’s time for me to truly listen — and to prioritise myself in the way
I encourage others to do every single day.

Through my wellbeing business, I talk about boundaries, balance, and looking after
ourselves. And now I need to practice what I preach.

Friday 6th March will be my final day taking appointments.

This decision hasn’t come lightly. Hairdressing has been part of my identity for over two decades. It’s been routine, purpose, connection — and such a huge piece of my heart.

Please know this isn’t goodbye. I’ll still be around the salon, still smiling, still chatting —
just not with scissors in my hand.

Thank you for trusting me. For choosing me. For staying with me. For being part of my
journey for over 20 years.

You’ve meant more to me than you will ever know.
