‼️ A word of warning to local businesses from Bluebells & Balloons ‼️

"Just a heads up to all businesses in the area that if this lady tries to pay with a £50 note don't accept it they are fake.
I have a uv note checker which showed up ok, the raised dots were on the note and it looked ok but the bank have rejected it and on closer examination the holographic section after some picking at, it is a sticker! Apparently one of the main things to look for.

So please share to any business sites you can to help keep people informed. Moving on for us we will not be accepting any £50 from now on unless you are a regular customer and I know you."

"Well… yesterday was a bit of a whirlwind and I completely forgot to post! 🙈

I think the nerves and excitement took over because I knew I was about to do something pretty drastic — but something that is ultimately for such an amazing cause. 🥹💕

When I first announced I was doing this, I said I was hoping to have at least 12 inches cut off.

Well… I may have got a little carried away…

A WHOPPING 17 INCHES WAS CHOPPED OFF! 😱✂️😂

That’s right… 17 inches of hair that I’ve grown out specifically so I could donate it to The Little Princess Trust. 💗

Knowing that something as simple as having my hair cut can help provide a real hair wig for a child or young person who has lost their own hair makes every inch absolutely worth it. 🥹🎀

But now I need your help with the fundraising! 💕

The council have authorised the closure of Sam's shop without giving her any notice at all! 😡

Sam has spoken to the workers today and they have assured her the work will be completed so she can open as normal tomorrow.

Dale from the Local business We Do More Than Print, has made and installed some fabulous signage and he's done a fantastic job 👏👏.

As you can see, Jade is thrilled to bits 😁 with the signage which now makes her Cakery & Cake shed much more visible at the top of Eldon Street.

The cake shed is open every day from 9am till 8pm (or sell out) .

They don't buy cheap macarons or cakes from the supermarket, everything is homemade ☺️

Anything they don't make themselves is sourced from small local artisan producers.

Jade makes all the Afternoon Tea cakes ( JD Bakes ) and Gail cooks the ham & makes all the savouries.

The table is set beautifully for your arrival with freshly laundered table cloth & napkins ( no paper napkins here!), vintage china & cutlery because attention to detail is very important ☺️

There's also a choice of over 40 different Cup & Saucer loose leaf teas, tisanes & infusions ( Theyve also won awards for their hand blended teas, which are made on the premises 🫖)
