✨ Thinking about intimate waxing? Here’s what to know.

If you’re considering intimate waxing for the first time, a little preparation can make all the difference.

✔️ Hair should typically be around ¼ inch (about the length of a grain of rice) for the best results.
✔️ Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before your appointment, but avoid exfoliating on the day.
✔️ Skip heavy lotions, oils, and fake tan before your treatment.
✔️ Wear loose, comfortable clothing afterwards to help reduce friction.
✔️ Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise, and swimming for the first 24 hours to give your skin time to settle.
✔️ Keep the area clean and moisturised with products recommended by your waxing professional.
✔️ Regular appointments (every 4–6 weeks for most people) can help maintain smoother results.

Everyone’s skin is different, so some redness or sensitivity immediately after waxing can be completely normal and usually settles within a day.

Frosting is a white powdery look that can sometimes appear when doing a chemical peel.

This is when the active ingredients exfoliate the top layers of the skin and cause the proteins in the skin to thicken.

This can be a sign that the peel is working and a good assessor of depth (when done correctly).

This should not be happening when using at home exfoliators.

Please be careful when having an exfoliation treatment in this weather, Your skin is sensitised and will burn.
Keep on top of that SPF covered!
