What an amazing boot camp this was with Corinna Calori | ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ด๐ฒ | ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ !! ๐ค
I travelled to London in a 24hr round trip to watch one of the absolute best & most respected artists in our industry, teaching us all things nano Hairstrokes. And it was more than worth it.
I absolutely LOVE travelling to these boot camps & masterclasses levelling up my skills to bring my clients the HIGHEST standard of treatments. I will research & research into every treatment I do, finding out the best pigments, the best techniques & what works for every client mature & young. โจ
I am obsessed with learning and obsessed with PMU at this point (if you canโt already tell) and I believe you never know everything & should constantly be up levelling in every way possible, even if that does mean travelling around the UK, I am more than willing to do it.
I got to meet another 16 unbelievable artists, who just made the day even more enjoyable if possible. We compare & troubleshoot problems to help each other and make our lives easier during every treatment. The talent in one room was overwhelming ๐ฎโ๐จ
Hairstrokes are most definitely the next big thing in the PMU world, how fluffy and undetected they are is honestly mind blowing. I am even struggling to tell what is hair and what is a tattoo.

Because your lipblush is only going to be as good as your outline work!! ๐ฃ
1. PRECISION MAPPING!
If your mapping isnโt super crisp & neat, using the of the right products that create an incredible standout border - How can you expect your outline to follow?
Take your time with mapping, your client doesnโt care if it takes you 30 minutes or 1 hour, as long as it guarantees them perfectly crisp results. Never rush this step!
2. THREE, WAY, STRETCH, the lip - to get a super consistent & sharp outline a good stretch of the area your working on is crucial! The correct stretch allows the pigment to implant seamlessly & makes sure the skin is stable to receive the pigment.
3. SPEED + TOOLS - I use a 1RL LONG taper
0.25/0.3 with my machine speed at 5.3 (I use a wand packer)... SLOW SLOW SLOW!! I count in my head 1, 2, 1, 2 before moving on to make sure that outline doesnโt ghost me when I wipe it away.
You need to give the needle enough time along the mapping to actually create saturation in that crisp clean outline. Keeping your needle in the skin consistently as you move along is key!!
I weirdly enjoy doing the outline part. It is all about patience & slow movements while working your machine at a 75/90 degree angle. Most beginner artists use the side of their needles and this will create a very thick and blurred outline (itโs not cute) ๐ถ

A very different kind of postโฆ
One of the things I have always loved about my job over the past 10 years, is the clients who have become like close personal friends. I have got to see my clients go through and grow through all the crazy stages life has to offer & at the weekend I got to celebrate one of my long term clients and close friends weddings ๐ฐ๐ผโโ๏ธ
This job isnโt just a โIโve got work this weekโ type of job, it is the type of job you go in and develop real relationships with everyone coming through the door & you are getting a catch up with your friends while beautifying them.
I have made friendships/relationships with clients in the past 10 years that will stick with me for the rest of my life ๐คโจ
I always hear the saying โnever mix business with pleasureโโฆ well for me, bringing the two together is a what has kept my clients returning all these years. Itโs more than just the treatments to me & thatโs what keeps me driven & forever passionate about what I do. ๐ฅฐ
And finally.. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Fulton, I will now change that second name on the booking system after it being like that for SIX YEARS ๐ค๐ค
