Soap Glow

Four local venues. A serious amount of empties. Real local help for local people.

Bank Social Club, Dundyvan, Sunnyside Suite , Big Owen's Bar Coatdyke, all in Coatbridge and The New Rhindsdale Tavern in Bailleston are collecting cans for Soap Glow — and quite honestly, collections like these are what keep us going.

Those bags turn into soap, shampoo, toothpaste and other basics for local people and families who need a wee bit of help.

They aren’t doing this for praise, but they absolutely deserve some. Please SHARE 🥰♻️ this, give their pages a follow and support the local places supporting local people.. also, please tag those above who we couldn’t find on fb. 😜

If you run a pub, club, café or workplace and could collect empties for us too, message Soap Glow. One bag really does make a difference.

And one last thought; cites you be our next volunteer of bag collecting and /or recycling? DM us please if you’re that person 😇🩵

Lots of you have really have got behind Soap Glow. Thank you very much 💛♻️

Every share, every donation, every bag, bottle and can — our community just keeps showing up. And we honestly can’t thank you enough.

A big Soap Glow thank you to Pamela The Pig Iron - Motherwell for getting behind us and collecting empties. 💛♻️

Support the local businesses that support our community. 🫶🏼

A wee Soap Glow ♻️thank you for this lovely lady 💛

AnneMarie from The Old Post Office was our very first empties vendor—and she’s championed Soap Glow ever since.

Thank you for believing in our wee idea right from the start, AnneMarie. You’re an absolute gem. 🫶🏼

Please give The Old Post Office some love, folks. We should always support the local businesses that support our community. 💛

The Old Post Office Coatbridge ♻️

Honestly, this is what makes SG so special 💛

Claire, Sophie and everyone Cross Keys Wishaw have backed us right from the beginning. A lovely congratulations one minute… then, in the very next breath, “I’ve got lots of bags of hygiene products for you.” 🥹

That’s community. No big fuss — just good people quietly getting behind other people.

Soap Glow may have started as a wee idea, but it’s the people who believe in it, support it and make it their own who have helped it become what it is today.

Cross Keys Wishaw, you’re a big part of the SG story. Thank you for always being in our corner 🫶🏼♻️💗

A wee Soap Glow update… 🏆

Amanda and I picked up the Community Volunteer Award at North Lanarkshire council Provost’s Awards 2026. Thank you Kenneth 🥰

A proud wee moment for us, but this recognition also belongs to our brilliant Soap Glow kids, who help keep everything moving.

It was great to see Cllr Geraldine Woods - Coatbridge South who is very much in our corner, 🫶🏼 and Provost Kenneth Duffy who was absolutely lovely.

We also met our new pal Stephen Llewellyn from NLC — poor Stephen doesn’t know what he’s let himself in for! 😂

Our SG weans are such an important part of this community — everything Soap Glow has achieved has their fingerprints and big hearts all over it 🫶🏼

Back to the cans and bottles now…
