The before photos are wet/product-heavy, but you can still see how much the colour had grown out. We softened the natural greys and added some brighter pieces through the top to give the hair more lift, dimension and a fresher overall finish.

Still keeping it light and soft, but with a bit more depth so the blonde has more texture and grows out beautifully ✨

I’ve been doing lots of perms over the last few weeks, so I thought it would be helpful to put together a simple aftercare guide on what to expect ✨

Perms can be such a lovely way to add curl, movement, texture and volume, but how you look after your hair afterwards really does make a difference.

The first few days, your first wash, the products you use and how you style your hair all play a part in how your curls/waves sit.

For all perm appointments, I’ll always assess your hair first to make sure it’s safe, suitable and achievable for you.

Flat to full of texture ✨

A perm doesn’t just create curls—it adds movement, body and styling versatility.

The first after photo is straight after styling while the product cast was still in the hair. The second is after the hair had fully dried and the cast had been scrunched out, leaving soft, natural curls.

Every wash day can look a little different too. Air dry for a softer finish or diffuse upside down for extra volume and curl definition.

Modern perms are far more versatile than people think. 🤍
