The handle on our tanning beds is clearly marked “HANDLE HERE” — and this is the ONLY place you should be using to lift or lower the canopy.
Please DO NOT pull, push or put your weight on the Perspex/acrylic. These panels are extremely expensive, costing thousands of pounds to replace, and repeated misuse is causing unnecessary damage.

We work hard to keep our machines in excellent condition for everyone, so please help us look after them.
👉 See the yellow “HANDLE HERE” sticker? That’s where your hand goes.
👉 Not on the Perspex.
👉 Not on the edge of the canopy.
👉 Use the handle every single time.
It only takes a second and could prevent thousands of pounds worth of damage.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE – DAMAGE TO MACHINE 4 ⚠️

Unfortunately, we have discovered that Machine 4 has been damaged again!!

This machine recently underwent a full refurbishment, including the installation of a very expensive, heavy-duty acrylic/perspex panel.

We have now discovered that a section of this thick panel has been broken off and the broken piece is missing.

This is not thin or fragile material. It takes considerable force to damage it, which makes what we have found particularly concerning.

We are currently establishing when the damage occurred and reviewing the information available to us.

If anyone knows anything about what happened to Machine 4, or witnessed the damage occurring, please contact us privately as soon as possible.

We work extremely hard and invest a considerable amount of money maintaining and improving our equipment for everyone to enjoy. Deliberately damaging equipment is completely unacceptable and ultimately affects every customer who uses the salon.

We would much rather the person responsible come forward and speak to us directly so this can be resolved.

For the safety of our customers and to PROTECT our sunbeds, tanning oils are STRICTLY PROHIBITED inside our SUNBEDS!!

Please do not use tanning oils, body oils, coconut oil, baby oil or any oil-based products before or during your tanning session.

Oil DAMAGE the acrylic surfaces of our sunbeds, leave a difficult-to-remove residue and affect the cleanliness and condition of the equipment.

✨ Only products specifically designed and approved for use on sunbeds should be used.

PLEASE RESPECT our equipment and help us keep Golden Tanning clean, safe and in the best condition for everyone.
