Sometimes I catch myself worrying about what’s next, what I haven’t achieved yet, or how far I still have left to go.

Then I stop & think about the younger version of me 🥹

Not because everything is perfect & not because I’ve achieved every goal I’ve ever had, but because I kept going. I kept going through the self-doubt, the mistakes, the setbacks & the days when giving up felt easier than carrying on.

I think one of the biggest mistakes we make is believing that happiness lives in the next milestone. We spend so much time chasing the next goal that we forget to acknowledge everything we’ve already overcome to get here.

The truth is, there was once a version of you who was praying for the things you have right now so before you focus on what’s next, take a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come.
