🤍 HAND POSITIONS 🤍

So autumn is here and whilst I love all the colours it brings i don't enjoy the fact the cold weather tends to set my back trouble off more then usual.

So just as a little FYI as we head towards the busy festive season 🎅🎁🎄

PLEASE HELP ME SAVE MY BACK! 🤍

Below I've shown a few examples of hand and arm positions that might not look like a big deal but over the course of a full working day they really are.

As nail techs, we spend hours sitting in the same position and even small changes in where your arms, wrists and hands are placed can mean we're constantly reaching, twisting or lifting our shoulders. Over time this can contribute to back, neck, shoulder and wrist problems and ultimately shorten our careers.

With my pre existing back problems, those awkward positions can make a busy working day extremely painful.

The good news is, It's really easy to help 🥰
Keep your forearms supported on the rest, with your wrists and hands relaxed and in line with the extractor and with me, as shown in the ✓ photo.

And most importantly... relax those hands and let me do the work! 😂🤍

It's someone's birthday today...... our very own resident therapy doggy is a big whole 5 today!!! 🎂🖤

She's had a special breakfast and a new toy, which her children nabbed off her straight away 🙄, pesky kids! So she will be in the salon relaxing and taking a break from them today 🤣
