I get asked SO many questions about anti-wrinkle treatments from people who are considering having it done but feel nervous, honestly, no question is a stupid question! 🤍

So I thought I’d answer a few of the questions I get asked most, because I know some people can feel too nervous or embarrassed to ask.

When I first considered anti-wrinkle treatment myself, I knew nothing about the treatment and had convinced myself the needle was going to be HUGE and that it was going to hurt like hell 😂 It actually put me off for years!
I wish someone had explained just how tiny the needle is and how quick the treatment actually is.

So… does it hurt?

I really don’t like pain, and personally I wouldn’t describe anti-wrinkle injections as painful.

You feel little pinches with each injection. Some areas can be more sensitive than others, but the injections themselves are very quick.

Some of my clients have even described it as “therapeutic” 🤣
I wouldn’t quite go that far… but I definitely wouldn’t call it painful! 😂

How long does it take?

The injections themselves usually take around 5–10 minutes, depending on how many areas you’re having treated, with the whole appointment generally taking around 15 minutes. 🥰

How many injections will I have?

This varies depending on your anatomy, muscle movement and the areas being treated, but as a rough guide:

• Forehead: around 6–8 injection points
• Frown lines: around 5
• Around the eyes: around 4 per side

These are only rough examples, every treatment is tailored to you, so the number and placement can vary.

And honestly, I wish I’d known all of this before my first treatment. I didn’t know what to expect and felt silly asking!

So please don’t ever feel silly asking questions. 🤍
