This is the incredible progress we achieved after just 2 sessions of microneedling with a tailored skin booster, and the improvement in the overall appearance and texture of the acne scarring is amazing.
We carried out the treatments 6 weeks apart, allowing the skin plenty of time to heal and, importantly, giving the collagen remodelling process time to work.
The last set of photos was taken before we started microneedling in mid-April
💉 So, how does microneedling help acne scars?
Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries within the skin using very fine needles. This stimulates the skin’s natural healing response, encouraging the production of new collagen and elastin. The tailored skin booster was used alongside the microneedling treatment to further support the skin and complement the treatment.
