I had a lovely afternoon at the private view between 2-4pm this afternoon, before the public opening tommorow, of this years Save the Children UK Ayr and District Branch art exhibition at the Maclaurin Art Gallery.
First lovely bonus catching up with so many of my artists friends as soon as I walked in😍
Second the amazing array of truly stunning artwork that’s arranged over 4 galleries. Then noticing one of my pieces had made the back cover of the programme knowing that 300 worthy pieces could also have been chosen. Then finally after all the talking & walking into Gallery 1 & seeing a red dot next to my Poppy View.🫶🏻
A brilliant day on all counts & as always extremely grateful that someone likes my art enough to want it in their home as well as helping to raise funds for such a worthy cause 😍
