Please read & share! A statement from Cyndee regarding the situation that occurred in the salon on Tuesday.
We would like to add that bullying, harassment and lies on our public salon pages & review sections will not be tolerated & will be reported as further evidence to Gwent police. Thank you. Veda.

Unfortunately an incident took place at our salon today that we feel is extremely important to share. In our 11 years we have never had a client come into the salon, sit in the chair, have a full colour, haircut, blow dry, and then simply refuse to pay for that entire service!
Today our stylist Cyndee had a local client with the name of Ashleigh Townsend in for a full head of foils, toner, haircut & blow dry, resulting in almost 5 hours work! Cyndee finished the appointment and was ready to settle the bill, but Mrs Townsend had premeditated ideas. Despite the busy salon and multiple witnesses, Mrs Townsend simply refused to pay for Cyndee’s time and services, all while being happy with her result! After numerous minutes of us all trying to make her understand that this is simply wrong and disgusting behaviour, she still decided to walk out, get in her car and drive away, with absolutely no remorse, just a smug and infuriating wave!!
This client sat in our salon, chatting away for hours, knowing the whole time that she had absolutely no intention of paying a penny. Thankfully our shop cameras captured the entire event. Gwent Police have been notified, supplied with our CCTV footage, along with our phone recordings of her leaving in her vehicle.
Hopefully Mrs Townsend will reflect, realise her actions are unacceptable and pay Cyndee what she is owed. If not then I hope the police will take this further to get the justice Cyndee deserves.
We debated over putting this out to the public, but we feel it’s incredibly important so that other salons in our area are fully aware of this person and her actions. So please be aware! If any Salons/Stylists would like anymore information on this person or the event we’d be happy to share so this doesn’t happen to you.

We hope this demonstrates why deposits & honesty are so important to us, we really don’t do it to be a pain, we do it to protect ourselves and our income. And we’d like to finish with a huge thank you to all of our honest and loyal clients, we see you and appreciate you!
