WDYM it’s been a year?

A full year between full balayages.
We ofcccc do maintenance inbetween with face frame, glossing & cuts.
But one full year since we refreshed everything & honestly what a difference ✨

We cleaned the blonde right up, kept a soft root & glossed those ends.

This client sat in my chair for the first time & wanted a huge change 🥹

I was a bit nervous.. as any stylist taking someone blonde - dark would be (you just never know if they are going to want to go back… we’ve all been there) but we had a good chat about what she does and doesn’t like with colour/tone ect mapped out a little plan for her hair & got to work going darker.

Fed up with the roots & no shine we opted for a glossy rich brunette with a lot of warmth 🤎✨

We are now on the hair health journey and will continue with regular appointments to keep that shine locked in ✨

My client has been traveling Australia for the past 3 years.
She got some colour done while away & the water & dry air had dried her hair out a bit.
She felt her colour was just a bit too light for her.

Summer hair ✨

My client has been getting extensions for years & today opted for a softer set with a little bit of dimension.

My client has naturally quite cool toned hair so we incorporated that throughout her extensions when choosing the extension shade we kept that in mind.

Ultimately colour will fade warm so we done some soft highlights using super 7 & 6% & toned with 10.16, 9.03 & 0.00 1% to create a soft creamy tone & enhanced with shades 55 & 9/55 in 20 inch we used 125 strands as we wanted to create length & thickness.

I really enjoyed May, I had a really nice work life balance & that’s what it’s all about, met some gorgous people at the o&m day in Alloa too which was lovely.

Iced coffees are on the salon menu now too, for the 3 days of summer we had 🫣
