It's a been a busy month ♡
6 weddings and a fully booked diary of cut and colour clients

Thank you for keeping me so busy but apologies for my late replies to messages and emails, it's also the school summer holidays so if I'm not working I'm trying to keep 2 boys entertained 😂

Just a little reminder that I will be having 10 days off the end of August, I only have a few appointments available then my next availability will be in September

One of the best things about being a mobile hairdresser is that I get to work around you

If the kids are home during your appointment, please don't worry! Whether they're chatting away, asking me a million questions, showing me their favourite toy, or just wanting to be part of the action, I really don't mind.

As a mum myself, I know that things don't stop just because it's hair appointment time. My aim is to make your experience as relaxed and stress free as possible, without you feeling like everything has to be perfectly quiet or organised. So never apologise that the house is chaotic or untidy, life gets busy especially during school holidays, I'm there to do your hair not inspect your home.

If you've ever put off booking because the little ones will be around... this is your sign not to ♡

✨️ A Little Announcement

After 11 years in business I've realised just how much has changed, not only within the hair industry but also as me as a stylist

When I first started Jodie Mobile Hairdressing I was a completely different stylist. Over the years I've grown in confidence, developed my skills, found my own style, and discovered what I love about making my clients feel their best, so now feels like the right time for my business to grow with me too.

So I am pleased to share that I'm having a little rebrand and will now be Jodie Wade Hairdressing

This isn't just a name change It represents the stylist I've become. While my name may be different the goal of my business will always stay the same to create beautiful hair in the comfort of your own home ♡

I can't thank you all enough for your support over the last 11 years. Whether you've been with me from the very beginning or you've only recently found me, every appointment, recommendation, like, comment and message has helped me build the business I have today. Over the next few weeks I will be busy making some more changes

A big thank you to all my lovely clients for being so understanding and flexible over the last couple of weeks while Arthur has had chicken pox. There has been a lot of appointment shuffling and rescheduling whilst looking after a very spotty little boy.

I always appreciate everyone's patience and kindness when these things happen ❤️

My last remaining appointments for this month, July is also very limited with availability ♡

Just a little message to clients ♡

Although I very rarely take on any new clients so I can make sure I fit you all in I get booked up quite quickly. Please where possible book in advance to make sure you get a day or time that is best for you.

I now try to only work 2 Saturdays a month and no more than 3 late nights a week so I can get a better work/life balance (although I don't always stick to this 🤦‍♀️)

The next few months will be a busy time with lots of wedding bookings and the school holidays to try and work around.

For anyone new to my page I'm Jodie a fully qualified and insured hairdresser bringing my services to you in the comfort of your own home.

I have been hairdressing for almost half of my life working in both salons and now mobile, but being mobile is definitely my favourite. I cover all Hairdressing services from your child's 1st hair cut to the elderly who struggle to get to a salon for a weekly blowdry. Majority of my clients have been with me for nearly 10 years since my mobile hairdressing journey started and some clients even longer from my salon days ❤️

When I am not doing my regular cut and colour clients you will probably find me getting a bride ready for her big day, I have specialised in bridal hair since I worked in the salon and it will always be 1 of my favourite parts to my job.

I am currently at my limit for colour clients and often struggle to fit in any new cut clients, this is to make sure I can fit in my existing clients around busy times during wedding season. Please feel free to contact me and if I am not able to fit you in I will be able to recommend other stylists

Being mobile means we don't have the benefit of regular in salon training like we used to back in our salon days but it is still important to us to keep up to date with all the latest trends and techniques, things are always changing in the Hairdressing industry.
