✨ 5 years ago today, I got the keys to my salon. ✨ My journey actually started in 2018 when I took the leap and became self-employed. This was the third salon space I’d renovated over the years, but this one was different… this one was for me. After a very difficult time, I unexpectedly found myself needing a new place to work just three weeks after lockdown. Then I found this space. With an incredible amount of help from my family and friends—and a fair bit of graft from me while recovering from surgery—we transformed it in just four weeks and opened the doors. To everyone who painted, built, carried, cleaned, encouraged me, and to every client who has trusted and supported me over the last five years… thank you. I honestly couldn’t have done it without you. This salon is so much more than just somewhere I work. It’s a reminder that even after the toughest times, something amazing can grow.
