Lately I’ve been reflecting on my little nail business and just felt like sharing a bit of gratitude for what it’s become.

I started NBM at quite a pivotal time in my life. Having never run a business before, I set up at my old dressing table, practised whenever I had a spare moment, and shared photos of my own nails, along with friends’ and family’s sets, hoping to slowly get my name out there.

Over the years I’ve added to my collection, grown my client base, learnt new techniques, found better ways of working, and figured out what works best for me.

This little corner of my life has become such a lovely creative outlet. I’ve been lucky enough to meet some incredible clients, many of whom I’ve got to know so well. When you spend 1–2 hours together every appointment, you end up sharing life updates, celebrating milestones, and creating nail art that’s completely personal to them.

There’s no anniversary or big announcement, I just felt really grateful for this little business that has evolved and for every single person who continues to choose me. Thank you. ❤️
