Making plans…

Yesterday we had an all day meeting with L’Oreal Professionnel ( big thank you Gemma LPPD L’Oréal Professionnel Paris🇬🇧 ) to review 2026 so far and firm up plans for the rest of the year.

Our focus is team education + celebration and we have some exciting autumn dates planned for our entire group, from the managers and Colour Specialists to apprentices - it’s good to look forward and see how we can maximise our education calendar and bring totally new initiatives to each of the salons.

Lots of new opportunities and launches are in the pipeline - 2026 is shaping up to be quite a year 😊

We are so proud of Amira, who has completed her Hair Professional Apprenticeship!

Amira joined our team two years and it’s been great to watch her develop into one of our own home-grown stylists. From winning our ‘One to Watch’ award in December to working backstage - Amira has worked really hard. She also successfully competed on stage when modelling in the Colour Trophy regional finals earlier this year.

In her apprenticeship, Amira achieved an overall Merit, including a Distinction in her practical examination, a fantastic achievement and a reflection of all her dedication and skill.

As part of her training, Amira recently passed her final practical model assessment with Sally. The learning doesn’t stop here, as Amira is now progressing on to the Advanced Creative Hair Professional qualification, continuing to develop her skills and creativity.

Many of our clients will already know Amira, and we are delighted that she is now welcoming clients as a Stylist at our David Lloyd salon.

We are so proud of Arabella, who has just achieved a Distinction in her Hair Professional Apprenticeship!

Arabella joined the group almost two years ago and has become a much-valued member of our Ashbourne team.

It’s been an incredible year, from working backstage at fashion events and being crowned our Apprentice of the Year, to now graduating with a Distinction. She has also successfully passed her final model assessment with Sally and is now welcoming clients as a Stylist in Ashbourne.

Arabella’s learning doesn’t stop here. She is now beginning the Advanced Creative Hair Professional Qualification, continuing to develop her skills and creativity.

Ladies day with our Uttoxeter team 🐎

After a very busy morning of in the salon, Rosie, Sadie, Sarah and Emmanuelle headed just down the road to the racecourse for an afternoon of racing in the sun.

It was great to see the Style Awards prize winners and see our name on the big screen - thank you for having us as part of your fantastic Ladies Day Uttoxeter Racecourse 😊

Happy first day to our new apprentice team!

This isn’t quite everyone, but today was one of our first induction days for the group joining us this summer as they begin their hairdressing careers.

We’ve received hundreds and hundreds of applications across all of our salons, and we’re now finalising the last few apprentice places for 2026.

We can’t wait to see what this talented group achieves 😊
