Our studio timetable is running throughout half term, with at least one class every day to keep you moving, stretching and feeling good. 🧘♀️💪
Whether you fancy firing up your core with me in Pilates, working on your Chaturanga in Jamie’s Strong Yoga, or slowing things down and releasing tension with Lou’s Yin Yoga, there’s something for everyone. 💛
However you’re feeling this half term, we’ve got a mat waiting for you.
✨ Check out the full timetable on our website and book your space - link in bio.
We gave our treatment room a little TLC at the weekend and we think it’s looking rather lovely ✨
It’s so wonderful to see the space being used and offering a calm, welcoming place for wellbeing.
Every Tuesday, Lou from is here offering her incredible treatments, including Indian head massage and facial reflexology 🌿
And from next week, we’re also delighted to welcome a psychotherapist to the space on Monday afternoons.
We love seeing this little room come to life and become a place for relaxation, support and self-care 🤍

Oh, the latest book by is just beautiful. 🤍
Filled with poems, personal essays, affirmations and visualisations, it’s one of those books you can dip into whenever you need a little moment of calm or inspiration.
I’m really looking forward to sharing some of Donna’s beautiful words in my classes this week. ✨
And, in the spirit of being easily pleased, I’m taking an hour out of my day to simply read in bed, cup of tea beside me, enjoying the wonderful view right in front of me. Sometimes it really is the little things. 🌿📖

Men are welcome at the studio too!
“Years behind a desk had taken a toll, not helped by an after-work routine of watching TV or playing video games on the sofa. But after getting home and doing some research (yes, from my sofa), I found a potential remedy: pilates.”
Sessions took place with one of our teachers Hernan Castro-Vidal 💙

Chair Pilates was such fun today! 🪑✨
As well as gently moving our bodies, we had lots of laughs too. It’s really important to me that everyone who comes along to class enjoys themselves - even when the exercises feel challenging.
Chair Pilates is a wonderful option for people with limited mobility, or those who are recovering from an injury, offering a gentle way to move, strengthen and build confidence.
I’m so pleased to offer Chair Pilates at the studio every Thursday at 12 noon. 💛
Everyone is welcome - come along, have a move and hopefully have a giggle too

For my other job, I am interviewing two authors at the Appledore Book Festival next week so there isn't a pilates class running on MONDAY EVENING. Yin yoga is still on as Lou is running that.
For all of you Pilates lovers, there are spaces available on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning - although they are filling up fast.
Hopefully see you on the mat next week.
Please book in via the system so I can keep track of numbers 🙏

It’s always such an honour when students take the time to leave a review 💛
Here’s a little selection of some of the lovely feedback we’ve received at the studio recently — and I’ll be honest, reading them left me feeling a little teary 🥹
My goal has always been to create a studio that feels welcoming, inclusive and supportive, where everyone feels comfortable being themselves and enjoys their time here.
Seeing these words from our students makes me feel incredibly proud and grateful. It feels like we’re creating exactly what I hoped we would. ✨
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to share their experience — it truly means more than you know. 🤍
If you haven't already tried a class, then know that you're in safe hands and will be made very welcome.

✨ 20 years of teaching yoga ✨
This week marks 20 years since I taught my first yoga class in Ryarsh Village Hall in Kent.
When I qualified, I was nine months pregnant with Zak - and just 12 weeks later, I took my first class. I had no idea whether it would work, but from the moment I stood in front of that first packed room, I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.
Yoga has been woven through every chapter of my life since then. Zak grew up alongside my classes, and when I had my first home studio, countless students tiptoed past his bedroom while he slept! 😂
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of teaching hundreds of men, women, children and babies.
Even after moving to Cornwall and then Devon six years ago, many of my Kent yoga family still join me on Zoom each week - including some who were there in those very first classes. ❤️
I’ve taught through pregnancy, illness, bereavement, hangovers and all manner of life’s challenges - as well as some very happy times.
Since discovering yoga at 21, it has been my constant companion. I’ve never wanted to stop teaching, and I genuinely can’t imagine my life without it.
There’s something about yoga that lifts me in a way nothing else does.
I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has stepped onto a mat with me over these 20 years. So many students have become dear friends, and each of you has been part of this journey. 🧘♀️❤️
If you fancy trying a live class at the studio or online, you would be so welcome.
Here’s to the next two decades…
I’ll be 71 then. I wonder if I’ll still be able to do the splits?! 😂
