💥Acne - Carbon treatments (often called “carbon laser facials”) aren’t just for the face—they can be safely and effectively used on other acne-prone areas of the body as well. The science behind it stays the same, but the application is adapted depending on the area.

• Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks (ideally 4 weeks) before your session
• This includes tanning beds and fake tans
• Skin should be as close to your natural tone as possible.
👉 Why? Laser targets pigment (melanin). If your skin is tanned, there’s more pigment in the skin, which increases the risk of:
• Burns
• Blistering
• Hyperpigmentation (dark spots)
☀️ After your treatment
• Stay out of direct sun for at least 2 weeks after treatment
• Your skin will be more sensitive and prone to damage

👉 During this time:
• Use SPF 30–50 daily (even if it’s cloudy)
• Avoid heat (sunbathing, saunas, hot tubs for a few days)
• Cover the treated area when outdoors
⚠️ If you do get sun exposure
• If your skin becomes tanned or sunburnt, your clinic may delay your treatment
• It’s better to reschedule than risk skin damage
