Two years ago today, I got the keys handed over to begin the journey of RARE (take 2 )… and what a journey it’s been. 🗝️🤍

It was one of the biggest leaps of faith I’ve ever taken. There were sleepless nights, lots of stress, and moments where I questioned everything. But standing here two years later, I can honestly say it was the best decision I’ve ever made.

We’ve built a salon I’m so proud of, with the most amazing team who I’m so grateful to work alongside and the loveliest clients who keep us busy every single day. Watching Rare grow into what it is today has been incredibly rewarding.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in us, supported us, and chosen us over the last two years. We couldn’t have done it without you ! 🩷✨

On International Women’s Day, I want to recognise the incredible women I’m lucky enough to work alongside every day. We’re called “Rare”, and that feels pretty fitting because the women I work with truly embrace what it means to be rare: supportive, inspiring, resilient unapologetically themselves and always lifting each other up.

And it’s not just our team. Every woman who walks through our doors each day brings her own strength, story and individuality a reminder of just how powerful women are when they show up as themselves.

Today we celebrate all of you. 💜

Last night was such a proud moment for our Rare family 🖤

5 out of 7 of us were there cheering on our very own Rosie Coltman for her first ever boxing match — and what a night it was! 🥊

Rosie sometimes gives up her Saturdays to come and help us in the salon when we’re rushed off our feet, and she’s well and truly part of the Rare family. To see her step into that ring with such courage, strength and determination at just 13 years old was incredible.

We are SO proud of you. The dedication you’ve shown to get to this point says everything about who you are.

And seeing our logo on your kit? That honestly meant the world to us. Thank you for letting us be part of your journey.
