LET ME REINTRODUCE MYSELF… 👋

It’s been a while since I’ve properly introduced myself on here, and with lots of new faces following us recently, I thought it was probably time!

👩‍⚕️ I’m Shereena, Director and co-founder of The Windsor Clinic alongside Gary. I’m a Nurse Practitioner, Independent Nurse Prescriber and work full-time in Aesthetic Medicine.

✅ I qualified as a nurse in 2013, before eventually making the move to work full-time in Aesthetic Medicine.

📚 Something you might not know about me…

I also qualified as an Interpersonal Psychotherapist in 2016. There’s definitely some truth in the saying: you can’t get Botox at your therapy appointment, but you can get therapy at your Botox appointment. 🤣

🫶 My approach has always been natural, considered and evidence-based.

I often tell my patients that aesthetic medicine is a journey, not a race. 🤍

Alongside treating patients, I’m slightly obsessed with learning. Even after years in this industry, I’m continually investing in advanced training, anatomy and complication management because I genuinely believe you should never become complacent when someone is trusting you with their face.

And behind the scrubs? I’m a wife, mum of two girls, lover of dogs, Pilates and a red w**e 🍷, and usually juggling about 47 things at once. 😂

PRP HAIR RESTORATION | PROGRESS ✨

A great example of why we always say results are a journey, not a race.

The photo on the left was taken before starting treatment, and the photo on the right was taken just before session 6 of our PRP hair restoration protocol.

We can see a noticeable improvement in the appearance of hair density and scalp coverage, particularly through the crown.

PRP uses the patient’s own platelet-rich plasma, containing growth factors, to support existing hair follicles and promote healthier hair growth.

Following completion of the initial 6-session protocol, this patient will move onto maintenance with one PRP treatment every 4 months.

Hand Treatment ✨

The hands are often one of the first areas to show age-related changes, with loss of hydration and volume making the skin appear thinner and tendons and veins more visible.

For this patient, we used Vital Skinbooster to restore hydration and gently replace some of the volume lost over time.

You can see the difference — the skin appears smoother, plumper and more hydrated, while still looking completely natural. 🤍

Vital is designed to improve skin quality from within using hyaluronic acid, making it a lovely treatment for areas where we want hydration and subtle rejuvenation rather than traditional filler-style volume.

Facial Harmonisation✨ Profile Balancing

This patient initially came to clinic requesting lip filler — but as always, our consultation started with an assessment of the whole face, not just one individual feature.

When assessing her profile, we discussed how treating the lips alone wouldn’t necessarily give her the balance she was looking for.

Instead, we used just 1ml of hyaluronic acid dermal filler, carefully placed improve the side profile and create harmonisation.

The result? A subtle, balanced profile where no single feature looks “treated” — everything simply works better together. 🤍

This is what facial harmonisation is about.

Sometimes 1 syringe used in the right places can make far more difference than 1 syringe placed in one area alone.

But somewhere amongst all of that, there’s usually plenty of chatting and laughing too!

PRP HAIR RESTORATION 🩸✨

A fantastic progress result from our PRP hair treatment programme.

These photographs were taken approximately 12 weeks apart, and you can see the improvement in the appearance of hair density and scalp coverage, particularly through the crown.

So, how does PRP work?

PRP — Platelet-Rich Plasma — uses a concentrated portion of the patient’s own blood, rich in platelets and growth factors. Once prepared, it is injected into targeted areas of the scalp to support the hair follicles and encourage a healthier environment for hair growth.

PRP may help to:

• Support existing hair follicles
• Improve the appearance of hair density
• Reduce excessive shedding in suitable patients
• Encourage thicker, healthier-looking hair
• Support the natural hair growth cycle

Hair restoration takes time, which is why we recommend a course of PRP treatments rather than a single session. Results develop gradually as the hair moves through its natural growth cycle.

Not every type of hair loss will respond to PRP, so assessment and correct patient selection are really important. We’ll discuss your pattern of hair loss, medical history and whether PRP is an appropriate option for you during consultation.
