BrowJam
Janine Onyiuke established Browjam in 2013. I quickly learned that although there are trends there is no one size fits all. Non- permanent Browjam artistry

Definition doesn’t have to mean bold brows with sharp structure.
It can be soft, light and airy ,while still creating definition and impact.
With this client in particular, her look was so unique. Her natural hair colouring, skin tone and striking features already created so much beauty.
I wanted to design a brow that softly defined her strong brow bone and added just a touch of magic to her face without becoming the main focal point or taking away from what was already there.
We don’t want the brows to be the first thing you see when you look at this woman.
We want them to sit beautifully within her features and feel balanced with her natural beauty soft, subtle and modest.
Some faces call for bolder brow and some call for soft and subtle.
Either way Your brows should feel like they belong to your face not like they’ve been added to it. 🤍
If you’ve been considering permanent brows but you’re worried about them looking too bold or overpowering your features, this is your sign.
Every set I create is completely tailored to you, your colouring and your natural features.
DM me “BROWS” and let’s create yours.
It’s all about balance. 🤍

Here is a before , straight after and healed microblading result after just 8 weeks!
My clients natural brows had a decent amount of brow hair, however they were lacking in shape and definition.
Her goal was to balance her shape and softly define but still keep it super natural!
So we focused on using the microblading technique with carefully placed crips strokes using a soft muted inorganic pigment to achieve her goals.
As you can see the strokes have a little more depth and volume once they are healed and that’s a reason why it’s really good to leave space between your strokes and focus on placement.
This allows us to add the strokes with your hair resulting in a light and soft natural heal!
If you already have a good bit of brow hair but lacking in shape, a few microblading strokes in the right places could really help you achieve going from good to great with your brows.
If you want to discuss your brow goals further we would love to chat about it.

I genuinely don’t know what it is lately, but I have been attracting the most incredible clients.
This lady walked in and, honestly, she just had one of those faces. No makeup, just beautiful, unique features. If I was an artist, she’d be the kind of face you’d want to sit and draw.
Then she said something that made me smile.
“Don’t make my brows symmetrical.”
She understood that her face isn’t perfectly symmetrical, so she didn’t want perfectly symmetrical brows. She wasn’t chasing perfection, she wanted balance. She wanted brows that looked like they belonged on her face.
I absolutely loved that.
We created a rough sketch using measurements as a guide, then freehanded the design to work with her natural features rather than against them. From there, we chose the perfect pigment for her. She doesn’t wear makeup at all, so it was really important that everything looked soft, effortless and believable.
Then we got to work creating the most natural-looking microblading for her.
When she first looked in the mirror, she loved them, but needed a bit of time for them to feel like hers. That’s completely normal. Within a short time, she’d already adjusted to them and was so excited to see how they’d heal over the coming weeks.
But what I loved most wasn’t just the brows.
It was the connection.
We got chatting about life, and I just love those little moments that happen in appointments.
I really do love my clients.
Not just because I get to create beautiful brows, but because I get to meet such thoughtful, interesting people every single week. 🤍

One of my clients reached out to me with a real sense of urgency after being diagnosed with alopecia areata around Christmas.
Her hair had fallen out quickly, and she had just started noticing her eyebrows becoming thinner. She didn’t want to wait until they had completely gone before doing something about it, and I completely understood.
Hair loss of any kind can be incredibly emotional, and losing your eyebrows brings its own unique challenges.
They frame your face and are such a big part of how we recognise ourselves.
Before going ahead, we had an honest conversation. I explained there was a possibility the treatment and healing process could encourage some of her remaining brow hairs to shed sooner. She understood the uncertainty, and together we agreed it was still the right decision for her.
Rather than recreating the thick brows she once had, we designed a soft, natural foundation that would look beautiful now but also work with her if her natural brow hair returns.
The moment that meant the most to me was when her husband said these were the best her eyebrows had looked ❤️
This is why I love what I do. It’s never just about creating beautiful brows. Sometimes it’s about helping someone feel a little more like themselves again during a difficult season.
If you’re experiencing hair loss or changes to your eyebrows and aren’t sure what your options are drop me a DM , I’d love to chat and help you explore what’s possible.

Reading these reviews has made me realise something…
My clients aren’t simply paying for a treatment. They’re also experiencing the person behind the treatment.
Over the last few years, I’ve grown mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Looking back, I can see that my clients have benefited from that too.
It definitely wasn’t always that way, I tell you. 😂
I actually had a client return after seven years and she said, “Wow, you’re like a completely different person.”
I laughed and asked, “What do you mean?”
She said, “You used to seem so stressed… now you just seem calm and peaceful.”
I knew exactly what she meant.
For a long time, I lived one step away from burnout. And whether we realise it or not, people can often feel what’s going on inside us.
These days, one of my biggest priorities is making sure that the peace, joy and healing I’ve experienced over the years naturally overflows into every appointment. If my clients leave feeling safe, cared for, more confident, more peaceful and more like themselves, then that’s just as important to me as the brows I create.
Beautiful brows will always matter to me, but how people leave feeling matters even more.
A massive thank you to every client who has trusted me over the years, whether you’ve been with me from the beginning or you’ve only just found me. Thank you for your trust, your kindness, and for taking the time to leave these incredible reviews.
I never take it for granted.

The biggest impact when it comes to microblading comes from the smallest tweaks and details. It’s all about asking, how can we take what a client already has and just make it that little bit better? Looking at their facial proportions, their style, their natural features, and refining what’s already there.
That’s always the goal for me. Sometimes that means enhancing what they have, and other times it means restoring the brow first, bringing it back to where it once was through recommending laser removal, so we have a better foundation to work from.
Whether it’s restoration or refinement, it’s never about creating a completely different person. It’s about making small, thoughtful changes that create the biggest impact while still looking like you.

✨ FROM YELLOW BROWS TO TRUSTING AGAIN ✨
This lovely client came to me after a previous brow experience left her feeling disappointed and unsure if she could trust permanent makeup again.
Her brows had healed quite blocky due to too many strokes being placed to close together in the skin, after several laser removal sessions, she was left with a yellow residue in the skin.
Before I go any further, I always want to acknowledge that Our industry has evolved massively over the years, and so have pigments, techniques, and our understanding of how brows age in the skin so this result I believe comes down from a lack of knowledge and being informed.
In this case, the yellow tone was likely due to older pigment formulations containing titanium dioxide, which can sometimes be stubborn to remove completely.
The biggest challenge wasn’t the yellow pigment though, It was trust as yellow is actually awesome to work on covering up.
She was understandably nervous and had lots of questions. One thing she specifically asked about was spacing. Her previous strokes had been placed very closely together, so she actively sought me out because she knew I love working with negative space and natural, looking brows.
When working on correction cases like this, the goal isn’t to completely cover what’s underneath. It’s to carefully break up the existing pigment with strategically placed strokes while preserving plenty of negative space.
Why?
Because microblading strokes naturally soften and expand as they heal. Too many strokes placed too closely together can eventually lose their definition and create a more solid appearance over time .
For her treatment, we used an inorganic pigment that heals softer and contains no titanium dioxide to avoid this happening again, helping us create a natural, realistic result while working with what was already present in the skin.
Most of all, I’m incredibly grateful she trusted me enough to give her brows another chance. ❤️
I’ll keep you updated with her healed results.
If you’ve had a brow experience that’s left you feeling nervous about having them done again, send me a DM and let’s chat through your options. ✨

One thing I really want artists to understand is this…
Dense brows are not automatically a “no” for microblading.
It all comes down to understanding your measures. ✨
I see so many artists instantly saying:
“I don’t work on dense brows.”
“I don’t work on wiry brows.”
“I don’t work on mature skin.”
And yes ,there are some clients that are better suited for machine work, shading or a combination brow.
But not every dense brow is the same.
This client had mature skin and wiry brows, but her skin still had enough integrity to work on, her brow hair was lighter, and most importantly ,the density sat in an area where movement could still breathe naturally through the design.
That’s the key.
When working with dense brows using hair strokes, you do NOT want to match the density with more density.
That’s where artists go wrong.
You actually want more movement, more spacing, and strokes with impact.
Less strokes with Better placement and more intentionality.
As you can see, I haven’t used loads of strokes here ,but every stroke has clarity, visibility and enough saturation to heal beautifully. 🤍
If you’re looking to get your brows done, work with me, or you’re an artist wanting to level up your skills and master realism-based microblading…

One of my amazing clients Michelle came in yesterday for her brows before her wedding in just five weeks 🤍
She arrived with loads of inspiration photos ,shapes she loved, brows she thought she wanted, ideas pulled from my page.
But honestly, from what she naturally had to the look she was showing me, I knew it might feel like too much for her.
A lot of clients think they want a certain brow because they love it on someone else, but sometimes it’s so different from what they’re used to seeing on themselves.
So we drew on the fuller shape she originally wanted, and together we realised it just didn’t feel like her.
That’s when we agreed:
“Your wedding is in five weeks , let’s keep them soft, natural, and just enhance what you already have.”
And honestly, that was the best decision 🤍
For me the goal isn’t to completely change someone’s face to the point there husband doesn’t even know who he is marrying anymore , it’s to make them feel a little more fresher and a little more put together! Helping them be the most confident version of themselves.
Especially for moments as special as walking down the aisle ✨

For years, I thought the one pass technique was just something you felt.
An intuitive approach.Something artists either had… or didn’t.
But Last year proved something beautiful:
One pass technique is teachable.
It’s intentional. Repeatable. And rooted in clear principles that artists can learn and apply.
I’ve now had the privilege of teaching artists around the world how to create:
👉 cleaner passes
👉 crisp healed strokes
👉 better retention
👉 softer healing
And watching those breakthroughs happen has been incredible.
Because great healed results aren’t created by luck. They come from understanding:
•depth
• pressure
• skin behaviour
• pigment flow
• intentional implantation
That’s exactly what we dive into inside the One Pass Masterclass.
