Years before I decided to start studying hairdressing professionally, I used to chaotically colour my hair all the time- this picture for example. I had booked in to get extensions in a platinum blonde shade, and my hair was a faded green at the time, so I had to pick up my weave, run home and have it all matched up to my hair before my appointment the following day😂 This included lightening my roots which had grown in a few inches in my natural brown shade, and toning up my hair so it was ready for the blue direct dye. I used a custom mix of to get this bright blue then the amazing Kerry worked her magic on installing my weave. I remember having no anxiety over whether the colour was going to work out the way I wanted it to or not, I wish I could feel that way again🙃
