Spent our One year Boat anniversary lapping up the sunshine on a bit of an upgraded ship in the Caribbean!
Swipe for the same time last year, the warmer temps were very welcome this year 🤣
What a way to spend one whole year of Message in a bottle!
Been a super quick year, and I still have a list as long as my arm of jobs we want to complete onboard, I’m definitely learning to accept that boat life is slooow and completely ok with it!!

Took a couple of days out of the marina, a trip to Marsworth with family for the steam rally followed by a little jaunt down to Berkhamsted and back, in what what possibly the hottest day of the year so far 🥵 mega warm but nice for a little change of scenery! Lesson learned to stay put and in the shade on hot days 😅

Have set up a little insta account in attempt to document life living down south on our boat, feel free to hit follow if interested. Can’t promise my posts will be regular, but I’ll try my best, slowly getting better at this social media stuff 😆

Back in sunny Scotland for a family & west coast visit however I managed to squeeze in my first ‘official’ haircut (near) the canal recently!
It counts even though my client was my brother and it took place in a car park between our campers, right?! 😆 We’re still very much in the ‘moving in’ phase, rearranging belongings, rearranging again (and again) and decorating our boat, once that’s complete I’m hoping I can make space onboard for a little pop up salon station 🤞 Watch this space…

Hello everyone! 🙋🏼‍♀️ Thought it was about time I popped on with a bit of an update!
As most of you know we recently decided to embark on a bit of an adventure and bought ourselves a narrowboat to live on down south!
Now that we’ve started to settle into our new way of live on the Grand Union Canal I thought I’d check in!
It’s certainly taken a few weeks to recover and adjust after completing our first voyage from Great Haywood to Cowroast, a total of 126 miles and 67 locks, hard work but super rewarding.
Hope everyone is doing well and not missing me too much 😆, I’m definitely finding it odd not having regular catch ups with all you guys and sharing life stories 🥲
