What an amazing day! We hit the court for Eastbourne Roundtable and had an absolute blast — plenty of basketball, big energy, and loads of fun!

And the day didn’t stop there… afterwards we headed to the ship for a fantastic meal, good food, great company, and the perfect way to round off an awesome evening.

💛 You never know what someone is carrying 💛

The mate who's always making everyone laugh.
The one who never misses a social or the opportunity to be centre of attention.
The one who always says, "I'm fine".

Sometimes they're carrying far more than anyone realises and on World Su***de Prevention Day, we're reminded that checking in with the people around you is isn't just a nice thing to do, it can make a real difference.

You don't need all the answers or the perfect thing to say, sometimes it's as simple as asking "how are you really doing?" and making the time to listen and let someone know they don't have to face things alone.

At Round Table, we know that su***de is the biggest killer of men aged 18-45 in the UK, accounting for around one in seven deaths in young men.

We also know it's important for men to have a place to belong, to talk, to laugh, and to support each other long before things ever reach a crisis point.

It doesn't solve every problem but having people in your corner can make life's tougher moments feel a little less lonely.

So today, let's send that message, make that call, or invite someone along to a social - you never know how much it might mean to someone.

It is short notice, but just a reminder that tomorrow is a fresh Longmans.

The Longmans Lunch Club is for local professionals to meet up informally each month. There is no membership fee, no business card exchange, no one minute business resume and definitely no speaker.
They meet on the second Wednesday of each month with a prompt start at 1.00pm and a 2.15pm finish for those who need to get back to work.
The venue is the Thai Brasserie, located within the Enterprise Shopping Centre , Eastbourne.
Lunch is provided at £18 per head, with a selection of dishes on offer.
Guests are welcome and once added to the mailing list, the membership application is complete!

It’s not all socialising and having fun at Eastbourne Round Table… sometimes we even make ourselves useful!

We headed down to the beach for a good old-fashioned litter pick, helping to keep our beach looking its best and doing our bit for the local community.

There’s something quite satisfying about seeing a pile of rubbish grow while the beach gets cleaner.

After putting in the hard work, we headed to Gianni's for some well-earned food and drinks.

A great evening of mates, community and giving something back — exactly what Eastbourne Round Table is all about.

Whether you're a regular on the fairways or someone who just enjoys a bit of friendly competition, it’s set to be a great day of golf, laughs and good company.

We headed out for a bit of friendly competition on the putting green — although the recent dry weather certainly put the course to the test!

The surface was looking a little worse for wear, but that wasn’t going to stop us from having a laugh, sinking a few putts and, of course, arguing over who actually won!

A great evening of good company, questionable putting and plenty of banter.
