For this flat helix we used a larger 1.6mm gauge. The initial longer bar allows room for swelling, but downsizing is really important once the swelling has settled. Leaving jewellery too long can mean extra movement, snagging and irritation, so please don't forget your downsize appointment! 🖤

✨ A LITTLE FINALIST UPDATE ✨

Tonight is the Best of Welsh Business Awards – Southeast Wales 2026 Finals, and although I won’t be able to be there in person, I wanted to take a moment to say how incredibly grateful I am to have been chosen as a FINALIST. 💜🏆

Unfortunately, life has thrown us a curveball, and right now my priority is being at home caring for my husband while he continues to recover. As much as I would have loved to get dressed up, celebrate and be there amongst so many amazing businesses, being there for him is exactly where I need to be. ❤️
Being recognised as a finalist is something I’m genuinely so proud of.

To have my little business acknowledged alongside so many incredible Welsh businesses means more than I can put into words.

🎗️ THIS OCTOBER, I WANT TO GIVE SOMETHING BACK 🎗️

Lately, I’ve found myself thinking about how incredibly lucky I am to have my family. I work hard to give them everything I possibly can, and sometimes I get so caught up in making sure my own family has what they need that I forget there are families out there going through things I can’t even begin to imagine.

As a mum, the thought of a child having to fight cancer honestly breaks my heart. 💔

No child should have to spend their childhood in hospital. No parent should have to sit beside their child wondering what the future holds. And no family should have to face something so devastating alone.

So this October, I want to use my little business to do something that means more than just making money.

🎗️ VIP Piercings is fundraising for a children's cancer charity throughout October. 🎗️

Every £30 piercing booked throughout the month will contribute towards our fundraiser, with a percentage of each appointment being donated.

It might not feel like a huge amount from one appointment… but if we all come together, those little amounts can become something that genuinely helps children and families who desperately need it. ❤️

You can support us by booking a piercing, sharing this post, donating , or simply telling someone about what we're doing.

I know times are hard for so many people, so please don't ever feel pressured to donate. Even a share could help us reach someone who can. 🥰
