Today I had the privilege of showing my children something truly special – The Great Polish Map of Scotland.
Built by Polish veterans who found refuge in Scotland after World War II, this remarkable monument was created as a gesture of gratitude to the Scottish people for their kindness and hospitality. It stands today as a lasting symbol of friendship between Poland and Scotland.
As a Polish woman who has called Scotland home for many years, this place holds a special meaning for me. I wanted my children to understand the history, respect, and friendship that connect our two nations.
Sweet Beauty is proud to support , the organisation dedicated to maintaining, restoring, and promoting this unique monument, ensuring that future generations can continue to learn from and enjoy this important piece of Polish and Scottish heritage.
