20 years of Emma Hall hair. More to come later..
It’s been the fastest time of my life. 20 years ago today, I opened the doors to one client (her name was Christine, she remained a client forevermore.. 💜) full of hope that we would become a busy, noisy salon full of laughter, love, and fun, and I do hope I am achieving that, all these years on.
I can’t quite believe that I’ve managed to be here for 20 years. I say I. I of course, ALWAYS mea n WE. This has never been a lone journey. I’ve always had a brilliant team behind me. Always loyal and always ready to step in in a crisis, and always ready to look after each other, for that I am forever grateful,
And no busy hair salon is busy without you, the clients. I love my job because not only do I get to make you feel beautiful every day, I get to hear your stories, celebrate the wins, hug out the losses and just be there for that little while that you are in our chair.
Thank you, for that, some of you for 20 years. Without you we would have no business.
Incidentally, this little bear was found in my kit bag, which I got as a 16 year old apprentice, its name is Sam, or Ella.. I had 2. But it’s been in the staff room for most of those 20 years, looking after us..

Emma Hall Hair, unfortunately due to unexpected family circumstances I have to leave Scotland behind and head back to Australia permanently. Truly sorry to anyone whos appointments need to be changed but you are in wonderful hands with the rest of the team”
