I know visiting somewhere new can feel a little unfamiliar at first, so here’s everything you need to know to make your arrival nice and easy 💛

🅿️ Best places to park:

• Corstorphine Bank Drive & Templeland Road – Plenty of parking and you can cross safely at the traffic lights.
• Ladywell Road onto Featherhall Avenue (via the Tesco roundabout) – Park at the back of the salon and walk round safely without crossing the main road.

All options are just a 5–7 minute walk to the salon.

⏰ For your first appointment at Salon Studios please leave at least 25 minutes earlier than you normally would to allow time for parking and finding the entrance. After your first visit, you’ll have a clear understanding of exactly where to come.

🔔 When you arrive:
Once you reach the front door, please ring the Copperhead buzzer and I’ll answer and let you in.

This is a shared building, so please be mindful of other businesses — no loud phone calls in the hallway area 🤍

When you come in, I’ll either ask you to take a seat in the hall or bring you straight into the salon.

✨ A New Chapter for Copperhead ✨

After seven incredible years at 36 Duart Crescent it’s time for a new chapter.

Running my salon here has been one of the proudest achievements of my life. Copperhead has been part of me for 11 years now, and for the last seven, Duart crescent has been our home. It’s where I’ve laughed, cried, grown, learned and built relationships that I will treasure forever.

To every single client who followed me from Ratho, from West Calder, and surrounding areas you didn’t just travel for appointments; you supported my dream. From those who were with me at the very beginning, to the amazing clients I’ve built up over the past seven years here — thank you for trusting me, sticking with me, and choosing me as your stylist. I will never take that for granted.

This salon has helped me raise my little boy. As a single mum, every appointment, every colour, every cut has meant more than just “work” — it’s been the foundation that’s allowed me to give him the life he deserves. So to every person who has ever sat in my chair — you’ve supported more than a business. You’ve supported my family. And for that, I am endlessly grateful. 🤍

The decision to close the salon hasn’t been easy. The industry has changed so much, and employing staff has become increasingly difficult. I never wanted to become just another chair-rental salon that was never the vision. So instead of fighting against the tide, I’m choosing to move forward in a way that feels right for me, my family, and my passion.

My mum, who owns the salon, will be putting it up for sale or lease to the right tenant and I’m so proud of what we created together. This place holds so many memories for both of us 🥺

Now… I’m so excited to say that I’ll be moving just down the road to Salon Studios on St John’s Road. This move is about getting back to why I started hairdressing at 10 years old — because I wanted to do hair. I wanted to make people feel amazing. I wanted to make a difference in someone’s day.

This new studio means less pressure, less admin, less stress — and more focus on what I love most: the hair. I cannot wait to pour all of my energy back into my craft and into you.

And I have to say a special thank you to Nails by Malwina — my salon wife for the last seven years. My rock. My sounding board. My daily support system. I will miss working beside you every single day… although you might not miss listening to my terrible chat anymore 😉 Thank you for everything. Truly always ❤️

Change is scary — but it’s also powerful. It’s growth. It’s choosing alignment over comfort. And I feel nothing but excitement for what’s ahead.

Copperhead isn’t ending. It’s evolving.
And I cannot wait to welcome you into this next chapter with me.

The new studio is under renovation at the moment and all going well

Hey guys!

Hope you’re all enjoying this Christmas season and keeping safe. Just a wee message to say that, with the new flu outbreak, I’ll be wearing a mask in the salon for your appointments. With only 2 (and a bit!) weeks to go until Santa arrives, it would just be my luck to be struck down with the flu on my time off with family 😂🫠

If you’re feeling unwell, or have a sick member in your household, PLEASE cancel your appointment or pop a mask on. One person being unwell can lead to days off for me — and being self-employed, you know how that goes!

A huge thank you to Copperhead Hairdressing who have very kindly donated a whopping £500 to East Craigs Primary School PTA on the back of their 10 year anniversary raffle. This is an incredible act of kindness and the money will be used to purchase new playground resources as part of an ongoing project to enhance play provision for all in the school, enhancing happiness, development and wellbeing!

What does copperhead have planned for this year, well it’s our 10th birthday very soon and we have a really exciting raffle getting planned for the special occasion in honour of our amazing local community 🧡🤘🏻 so watch this space

❤️‍🔥 Heather is now taking on new clients, her diary has been closed for a few months but back open to new or existing clients, who haven’t managed to get appointments
Working Tuesday to Saturday she has two late nights available Thursday and Friday and has opened up Wednesday afternoons also

❤️‍🔥 Nicole is back stronger than ever, working Thursday Friday and Saturday, she has been building up her clientele and will be doing some offers on colours in the next few months so watch out for those discounts coming in march 😍
