•Ok so leaving your hair to dry naturally isn’t all bad…although dry those roots off as soggy scalp=bacteria growth. Hair is also in its most delicate state when wet so this can lead to unnecessary breakage, the heat of a hairdryer (using heat protection of course) is a safer option. Also if you want volume in your roots Blowdry them.

•Conditioner does not cleanse your hair it conditions it.

•If the oil is not designed as a hair oil it will only coat the hair & not actually benefit it within as the molecules are too big to pe*****te. Ask your stylist to recommend a hair oil.

•You need to wash your hair & scalp with a detergent ie shampoo! Those products, pollution, sweat, oils from cooking etc need to be removed. It will not naturally clean itself. (Or smell fresh)

•Salon products contain high quality, high volume, targeted ingredients instead of being filled with cheap silicones & filler ingredients

•Your hair doesn’t need to be washed right before your colour (this can actually cause a slight sensitivity in your scalp) but it does have to be clean. All that stuff I was saying needs to be removed when shampooing well colour just has to work twice as hard to break through it and can affect colour results.
