We’re hearing more questions as the updated pens are arriving, so here’s a little reminder of what’s changed and what hasn’t.

Eli Lilly have introduced a revised KwikPen design, but the medication, dose, and how you use the pen all remain exactly the same.

🔄 Key Design Updates

• Lower starting plunger position — The plunger now sits further down the cartridge, which can make the volume look reduced at first glance. The pen still contains four doses.

• New internal extension piece — This small component sits behind the plunger, giving the internal mechanism a longer appearance.

• Clear end‑of‑pen indicator — After your fourth dose, the plunger now reaches the base of the cartridge, making it obvious when the pen is fully used and ready for disposal.
