•Why do we need a consultation & patch test before IPL?•

Before starting IPL hair removal, your consultation allows us to look at your skin type, hair type, medical history and current medications to make sure IPL is suitable for you. Some medications and skin conditions can mean IPL isn’t appropriate, or that we need to take extra precautions.
Your patch test allows us to check how your skin responds to the treatment before we treat a larger area. It’s an important safety step that we will never skip.
We’ll also talk you through what to expect, aftercare and your treatment plan, including the importance of consistency.
IPL hair reduction is not an overnight result — it works gradually through the hair growth cycle, so commitment to your recommended course and treatment schedule is key. You may notice changes along the way, but patience and consistency are what help you get the best possible results.
We take the time to do things properly — because your safety comes first, and we want you to get results you’re happy with. ✨
