This client came in wanting more definition and a more balanced brow shape, while still keeping the result soft and natural.

✨ First session: We created the initial powder brow, working with her natural brow shape and existing asymmetry.

🤎 Healed: Once fully healed, we could assess how the pigment had settled and see exactly where further adjustments were needed.

✨ Perfecting session: We refined the shape, balanced the natural asymmetry, and added depth and definition where required.

The result is a beautifully soft, defined powder brow that complements her natural features. 🤎

Brows are sisters, not twins — and perfecting sessions allow us to fine-tune the healed result and work with each individual brow and give a more harmonious appearance to the brow symmetry.

One of my favourite things about hyperrealism is that healed results are the real result. Fresh brows can look more defined, but it’s how they settle and heal into the skin that matters most.

This client originally came to me pre-Covid for her brows, and at the time we created a beautiful powder brow.

Fast forward a few years… and her style had changed. 🤍

She came back to me wanting something completely different — hyperrealistic brows with individual hairstrokes for a much more natural, fluffy finish.

But there was one important step first…
Because she still had pigment from her previous brows, I advised her to visit Shanice Eraze Tattoo Removal for a laser removal session before we started again.
And thankfully, she was able to achieve a lovely, clean canvas after one laser session 🙌

From there, we could create a completely new brow design suited to her current face, style and preferences — rather than trying to work over old pigment.

And here's the thing…

Our tastes change. Our faces change. Trends change. What you loved 5 years ago might not be what you want today.

I mean… how many of us have changed our hair colour, haircut or style over the years?! 😂
(Not me though… I'm too grey 😅)

Permanent make-up is designed to be long-lasting, but that doesn't mean you're locked into one style forever. Sometimes the best option is to remove or fade previous work first, then start fresh.

This is why I always assess existing PMU before deciding what is possible. Sometimes we can work with what's already there, and sometimes removal is the safest and most aesthetic route to achieving the result you actually want.

A beautiful hyperrealistic brow transformation for my lovely client today 🤍

This client has very sensitive, reactive skin, so a gentle approach was especially important throughout the treatment. As you can see, her skin showed quite a strong inflammatory response immediately afterwards — but underneath that redness, you can see those beautiful, delicate individual hairstrokes coming through. 🥰

✨ Hyperrealistic brows are all about creating the illusion of real brow hairs — carefully placed strokes that follow the client's natural hair growth, direction and existing brow structure.
For this client, I wanted to create:

🤍 A natural, hair-like finish
🤍 Soft, realistic fronts
🤍 Definition without a blocky or makeup-heavy appearance
🤍 More structure whilst still complementing her natural brows
🤍 A shape that works with her individual facial features

Freshly tattooed brows will always appear stronger and darker initially, and the surrounding skin can look red or swollen immediately after treatment. As the skin settles and the brows heal, the colour will soften and the finished result will become much more natural.
The healing process is just as important as the treatment itself, so patience is key! ✨

I absolutely love how these have turned out already — and I can't wait to see them once they're fully healed. 🤎
