✨ REAL CLIENT JOURNEY ✨

These photos show the progress of one of my clients who came to me concerned about long-term acne scarring, uneven skin texture, and post-acne pigmentation.

When we first started, our focus wasn’t simply on the scars themselves. Healthy skin always comes first.

We began with a personalised treatment plan combining professional Dermaplaning, Dermalogica Pro Power Peels, targeted homecare, and regular skin assessments to improve overall skin function and encourage healthy cell turnover.

As the skin has become stronger and healthier, we’ve seen improvements in overall texture and refinement, allowing us to move on to the next phase of treatment.

We have now introduced Microneedling to help stimulate collagen production and further target the appearance of acne scarring.

One thing many clients don’t realise is that as skin texture improves, areas of pigmentation can sometimes appear more noticeable. This isn’t a setback—it’s often the next concern that becomes visible once we’ve started improving the overall condition of the skin.

Our journey continues, and future treatment options may include advanced therapies to address remaining pigmentation concerns and further support skin rejuvenation.

Skin transformations are rarely achieved with one treatment.

They are built through consistency, patience, professional guidance, and trusting the process.

Sometimes people assume that because I’ve completed training in Advanced Massage Therapy, I’ll be moving into massage treatments.

The answer is no.

The reason I chose to study VTCT Advanced Massage Therapy was to deepen my understanding of the body and gain qualifications that align with the direction I want my career to take.

Through this training, I achieved:

These qualifications complement my advanced Dermalogica training and strengthen the knowledge behind every skin treatment I offer.

Understanding the body, its systems, healing processes, contraindications and how treatments interact with the skin allows me to provide a higher standard of care and deliver results-driven treatments with confidence.
