Re-Employ

🎉 Another Designed For You course complete! 🎉

We're so proud of our latest graduate from Designed For You, our free two-week, work-based course for young adults aged 16–24 in Fife who face health barriers or disabilities that can make it harder to get into work.

Over the two weeks, learners build confidence, pick up transferable skills, learn about workplace behaviours and get hands-on experience in a creative, supportive space. They design and make their own badges and embroidered patches then they decide if they want to design a logo for a T-shirt, mug, coaster, place mat or mouse mat and discover what they're capable of along the way. 👕☕

📸 Pictured is Lewis, who made a T-shirt as part of the course.

Lewis shared information about a local club that's made a real difference to him.
It is very interesting and inspiring to hear what attendees are doing to support themselves:

“Trench Boxing is the place I do my boxing. I have been going for a while now and have seen how much it has improved my fitness. They also run a Mental Health session on a Tuesday from 5.15pm to 5.45pm and on a Saturday from 11.00am to 11.45am. They support anyone who has concerns about their mental health.

I started going as, I myself, have had mental health issues but since I have been there, my mental health has improved a lot."

We are celebrating again!

Another “Designed For You” 2-week session successfully completed.

Well done to all the participants.

Re-Employ are proud to support people, providing them with a hands-on, fun experience which allows them to tap into skills they maybe didn’t think they had.

There are more sessions this year.

Re-Employ is proud to celebrate another successful completion of its Designed For You course.

This two-week, work-based course supports young adults aged 16–24 in Fife who face health barriers or disabilities that make entering employment more challenging. Participants build confidence, develop transferable skills, learn about workplace behaviours, and gain hands-on experience in a creative and supportive environment.

Throughout the programme, learners design and produce custom items such as t-shirts, mugs, badges, and embroidered patches. These practical activities help participants discover new abilities and prepare for the workplace.

If you or someone you know would benefit from this course, let us know — it's free for attendees.

Our picture shows two of our graduates: Marc, who made a T-shirt as part of our 16–24 programme, and John, who made a mug through our Designed For All (Ages 25+) programme.
