So after being let down last minute, I stepped in to help Sam out for her big day, we managed to squeeze a trial in before I went on holiday.

Now Sam loved her trial, but we switched up the look for the wedding day, mostly due to the hot weather. She didn’t want to feel like she had anything on her skin especially as she touches her face a lot. So guess what? This look has ZERO foundation and just look how GLAM she looks still 😍

And the bold lip?!?! STUNNING!! It really pulled the whole look together and gave that extra glam factor, one of her bridesmaids said she was giving vintage and betty boop and I loooveeee that so much! Just look how happy and glowing she is!🤩

It was such a pleasure to be a part of Sam’s day and to be trusted at such short notice 🤍✨

Let’s talk bridal trials! 👰‍♀️

If you’re a bride who isn’t sure on what kind of thing you want or you’re not much of a make up wearer, I’d always recommend having a trial. Today’s trial for example, Samantha LOVED the finish look (as did I, she looks stunning!) BUT after wearing it for the day she realised that she’d like a softer eye, less smokiness on the outer corner and would prefer a softer lash and to have just a touch less bronzer. Which is absolutely fine! If we hadn’t of had this trial, she wouldn’t have known what she liked until it was maybe too late.

Which leads me onto my second point, if you do have a trial and there’s things you’d like to change, just let your MUA know. We aren’t offended that you’d like to make changes, we would much rather know as all we want is for you to feel your very best on one of the most important days of your life!

Bridal trial for the gorgeous Phoebe, I can’t wait for the wedding day glam after this stunning trial 🤩

Phoebe’s brief was, soft glam, to still feel and look like herself and the colour match to be 10/10, so that’s exactly what we did!

I know that it’s a big worry for lots of clients, they don’t want to look “orange” so I’d just like to reassure all my current, future and potential clients that I will never let you leave my chair without your colour match being spot on!

Everything about this wedding day was so breathtakingly beautiful, the venue, the flowers, the bride, everything!

Shantel wanted a really soft and timeless glam where she still felt like herself, so that’s exactly what we did! We kept the base light and glowy and the eyes really soft with some neutral colours that really complemented Shantel’s eye colour and skin tone.
