Almond nails are longer and place more stress on the free edge. Without the correct strength in the right areas, they won’t withstand everyday wear.

❌ 2. Incorrect nail architecture
A beautiful almond isn’t just about filing the tip. It requires the correct apex placement, balanced thickness, and perfectly aligned lower sidewalls to achieve strength, symmetry, and elegance.

❌ 3. Poor adhesion to the natural nail
Lifting usually comes down to incorrect nail prep, inappropriate product choice, or poor application techniques.

The importance in product application lies here:
* Do you use the same technique to apply products to all nail types and end up with lifting? 🤔
* Do you believe that there is that one magic primer or base coat that will prevent lifting forever, so you keep searching for that miracle pot? 😰
* Do you apply the product in thin even layers, but the nails still end up looking bulky like “puffy pancakes”? 🥞

There are several important rules to create fundamentally strong, healthy and lasting nails:

1. Flawless prep.
2. Apply the product evenly over the free edge and near the cuticle area to help prevent lifting.
3. Do not pile on thick layers of gel, cure and then file the excess off endlessly - that will NOT solve the problem.
4. You need to know the entire technique, from product removal to the finishing touches, what makes final results stand out from the crowd.
